I came to get cheeseburgers for my mother's birthday. Only got cheese on 1 burger. I am an African American male. And I did not feel welcome in this place. I felt like they wanted to get me out of there as soon as possible.

Not only did I have the pleasure of eating lunch here with my mother and mother-in-law, but we also chose Bud's as our caterer for my father's Celebration of Life at the Olde Vets Hall. Cherie, the coordinator for the Olde Vets Hall, works through this restaurant for payments, etc, making everything super easy. We catered a lunch for the memorial, and the food was ALL excellent. We ordered Salad, Potatoes, Vegetables, Tri-tip with Gorgonzola Sauce (You could put it on a shoe and it would be delicious) Chicken in Lemon Caper Sauce, Veggie Lasagna (The leftovers showrunner for us, we have fed on it for days without flavor fatigue) Sourdough bread, and the berry pies for dessert. We also opted to get a bartender for a cocktail hour, and everyone raved about the drinks! The servers were also very attentive, and kept water pitchers on the table full, and worked tirelessly to clear the tables when everyone was done. Both Bud's and the Olde Vets Hall are cool buildings. The bar at the restaurant is stunning, with many mounted hunting trophies. The dark wood provides a historic California vibe that is really nice. The booths are spacious, and the waitstaff is friendly at table or bar. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the food and the service, and the price, considering the MOUNTAIN of leftovers we will be feeding on until Christmas. Thank you to Cherie and the gang for making one of the hardest days for my family one of the best by the end.

If you wonder why nobody sits at the bar to watch the big screens try it with those bar lights glaring in your eyes so bad you can barely see the beer taps and trying to watch TV is just flat annoying with them. GET THEM ON A DIMMER....!!!

ZERO STARS- GOOGLE ONLY LETS ME DO ONE THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL RACISM! POOR CATERING! HORRIBLE BAR SERVICE! Some of my family are regular customers that enjoy dining and drinking here. But they had experienced some racism at the bar! Someone had backhandely said a very offensive racial slur about one of them. What year are we in to be saying racial slurs! Oh and get this! The WOMAN BARTENDER (the one that looks like Mick Jagger) had proceeded to laugh at this so called joke. What is so funny about that? They tried standing up for themselves and proceeded to get kicked out and told not to come back to the establishment. Those people are some real pieces of work! Honestly, it’s really sad they lost some regular customers over this. This establishment is entirely cliquey and very serving to the good ol’ boys. Very small minded establishment that clearly hasn’t caught the memo that we are in 2025! Notice how I didn’t have to mention race? Is that so hard to do nowadays when complaining?!
