I live in dixon. I went here for dine in at night around 11. I waited for 10 mins at counter and nobody attended me, even there was a lady walking around doing nothing but just standing and talking to other employee in kitchen.

Food was good, staff were welcoming. However, it was incredibly slow. My car had enough time to charged up to 100%, and we just got seated. There was no line and quite a few customers already having meals. Not recommended in case you want to quickly eat on the way to Tahoe.

Denny's has improved here in Dixon. Oscar was our server, he is amazing, the cook today was on point we had the breakfast super slam and the breakfast deal menu. We are seniors and enjoyed our meal. Thank you Denny's
GREAT chicken strips, had white gravy. 5 good sized, batter was a bit salty. $10- WAY WAY better than Raising Cane's 4 skinny strips for $15... and they came with a generous portion of fries, not a little cup of slaw.

I liked this dinner! The food was great and tasty. However, there are a couple of things they need to work on. First, they should clean the cutlery and table condiments — they were greasy. Second, the restaurant has a slight smell; they probably need to change the A/C filters. The place is a bit old, but these improvements are definitely needed.

We walked in as a party of three and immediately thought, “Uh oh,” when we saw a group of about 20 people seated next to us who hadn’t gotten their food yet. But our experience turned out to be fantastic. Our waitress—whose name was either Merlyn, Marilyn, or Merlin (and who was pregnant!)—was absolutely incredible. She was managing that huge party, plus us and at least two other tables, and still remained calm, attentive, and on top of everything. She truly kicked butt.
On top of that, the food from the kitchen was really good—fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by how smoothly everything went. Despite the crowd, we didn’t wait long at all. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, thanks to a rockstar server and a solid kitchen team. Big kudos to the staff!

I was hungry it was late at night stopped in was greeted with a smile service was fast and the food was excellent. I had chicken fried steak it was very tender could cut it with a spoon . Waitress was very good at her job took care of my every request
