I used to go to Pedro‘s a lot, but after the awful experience that I had in 2023. I got married and he did not provide the food that I needed. He and I agreed that he was gonna served different foods and he did not serve one of them and he wasn’t able to recognize his mistake after showing him the receive of the contract that we had made together. The side that he forgot was birria and I really wanted that one also we had agreed to have a buffet theme and he made my guest feel so uncomfortable. He only gave them a choice of two items instead of having unlimited. Please save your money and do not hire him for catering. He ruined my wedding. What makes me more upset is that he did not recognize he forgot to put birria after sending him the receipt of the items. He stoped answering my calls and texts.

Stopped in on my way home, because I wanted Mexican and the reviews looked good. They did not disappoint! Excellent food, friendly service, good price, good chips and salsa (with salsa verde with a kick), and fun and festive decor. Would come back and would recommend to others! Oh, and I asked... They don't have nachos on the menu, but they'll make them on request!

The family is so kind. There are a lot of repeat customers that come by and there's a good reason for that. Everyone is treated so well, good food, good prices and a beautiful environment. There's even an outdoor patio for when things are warmer to enjoy outside.
Will definitely be back. they made us feel at home.
Vegetarian options: You can ask for whole beans instead of refried. Makes almost any dish suitable for a vegetarian.

OK so i judge Mexican restaurants by their chips and Mexican rice. The chips where not restaurant made. Even your mom and pops taco shops make their own chips. Second rice, no flavor as if it was a box rice kit. As for authentic Mexican food. This is not. I ordered steak taco salad and very non authentic dish. But the crazy parts was i received taco season hamburger. Overall impersonation not a good Mexican restaurant especially for Dixon. Home of some very authentic and good Mexican food. Side not. When was the last time you paid 1.00 for refill on soda at a set down restaurant?

Horchata was subpar, Al pastor tacos just didn’t hit at all, lengua tacos were okay, and Birria w/ consome were good. Overall, this restaurant didn’t blow me away, and wasn’t bad enough to fully disappoint.

We waited more than one hour for our food. They were not understaffed, but their employees were more focused on chatting with their friends sitting at tables than with getting food out. It’s a shame, their food is good and this place could do so much better if service improved.
