The Punjabi Dhaba in Dixon is delightful for its lack of pretense and good food. It is located at a freeway exit and the entrance to the restaurant is quite dangerous at night. If you're passing through on a Saturday or a Sunday they have a really good all-you-can-eat buffet. One of the best deals in the area and it's very good food.The food on the regular menu is very good and it is affordable. I would say their dishes are about $3 cheaper than places in Vacaville. And you can buy coffee ice cream bars for $3 each, which I thought was kind of expensive but now that I've been to an Indian food store I realized it's a good price also...
We arrived somewhat late for lunch on Saturday, the buffet was still well stocked and fresh, they added food as we went thru the line. Food was delicious, and quite plentiful, and the staff friendly and efficient. Lunch was $13.99 per person, I think a bargain, especially considering the quality of the food.
