Terrible experience here related to eGift Cards. They won’t except a digital version of an eGift Card, they required it to be printed out. Isn’t the whole purpose of an Electronic Gift Card to use it electronically and not waste paper printing it out? Don’t waste your time or money here.

Even though we are retired military and have access to shopping in our base commissary, we love Safeway. They have excellent sales and we always fill up our cart with great bargains. The deli is wonderful for nights I don't feel like cooking, and the dinners we pick up in there are really yummy. We follow their "Just for You" sales online, and enjoy the free products. It's nice to get something back once in a while. We received a free 12 ounce bag of Francisco's coffee, just yesterday. Thanks for being right around the corner, and we also appreciate that you're open 24/7.
Cashier stole my money. My items rang up to $8.29 and I paid $20.29. Cashier had another cashier check the register, still insisted I gave her $8.29. I left ripped off $12. Should've reported her to the manager and got my funds but I was taken off guard and wasn't sure what to do in that exact moment because I've never had a cashier steal from me. That was money I needed and I am now shorthanded. Will be very careful from now on because this cashier is shady and dishonest. I'm sure she pocketed the extra cash.

Friendly helpful service in grocery areas. Growing selection of organic, grassfed, gluten free items (means fewer trips to Vacaville or Davis). Checkout lines always long and those "3s A Crowd" signs hanging from the ceiling seriously make it worse! The pharmacy...absolutely worthless. I called in a refill prescription on Tuesday, I was told it would be ready after 5pm on Thursday. After arriving on Thursday at 5:10pm and standing in line for 23 minutes I was told they were out of my medication and it would be in "after 2pm tomorrow (Friday). I asked did anyone try to call me and let me know so I wouldn't have to waste my time waiting in line for over 20 minutes for nothing? Nope, no one tried to call me. I'm moving all my prescriptions Walmart, it has to be better, certainly can't be worse!

I get a monthly prescription every month at the pharmacy. In the past four months when I go to pick it up it is never ready. I started waiting if my dr gave me the script on the afternoon , I would go to collect it the next morning, still not ready , I'm told " do you have any other shopping to do ?
