I used to come here all the time for Sunday football, but now they only play certain games, not worth coming back. They’re only playing rams games, other than that, save your time and go somewhere else. Overall great service just not worth it on sunday.

First time at Bar Louie celebrating my 34th birthday, and it was amazing! Our server, Jay, was welcoming from the start and made sure we were comfortable with our seating. When he found out it was my birthday, he went out of his way to create a special and intimate moment for me at his own expense. I was so surprised and touched by his thoughtfulness! Jay remained professional the entire time and gave us outstanding service from beginning to end. I’ll definitely be returning especially for Jay!

They dont have all the game. I was here last season and it was so cool. You could see all the football games here not any more. So this Sunday it was emptierthan usual. The server was great though!!

I was on the way back from LAX to Palm Springs. My buddy wanted a bite to eat and a drink after his 10 hour flight from Dublin. We stumble upon Bar Louie, the only empty restaurant in an otherwise packed shopping center.
There were 3 of us. Long story short, we ordered 3 beers and a chip & dip platter. The first beer I wanted they were out of, same with the first beer my wife wanted. When the chip and dip platter arrived, not only was there a random chip floating in the salsa, but there was a hair in it. I work in the service industry and normally wouldn’t complain about a stray hair, but it turned out to be a clump. Told the server, no prob.
Then in the queso, there was a piece of plastic or a piece of bag (not sure) towards the middle. While our server was nice, she was hard to track down in the midst of these complaints. It was a slow Wednesday so not sure why we had to work for her attention. Also another server ended her shift (I think/hope?) and promptly propped herself up on the bar and started texting on her phone without a care in the world. Not sure what that was about.
The manager was apologetic and did comp our appetizer, but if I find myself in Downey again, I won’t be patronizing this place if I need anything more than a shot and a beer.

Well considering it was Friday night I don’t understand how the wait staff was just chillin in the back of the restaurant
I ordered drinks for me and my friend and 30 minutes later I still didn’t have them
And here they all are just handing out while I’m waiting for my food and my drinks…. Which never made it to the kitchen or bar

Security would not let me and my service dog sit on the patio. He said this is a bar, not a restaurant. He’s violating law. And needs an attitude adjustment!

FRAUDULENT place! My card was charge an excess of over $200 by management that refuse to return my card until we nearly called police!
Very unpleasant experience from the waiters, to the food that took over 30 minutes and the service was outright unprofessional! I didn’t have anything here due to coming for a drink with friends after a steak dinner. It started with a friends drink having a horrible taste and when he asked for another the rudeness became obvious on behalf of waitress that took a lengthy time while we would see them gossiping with the other waitress instead of providing a service. My friend who had not one drink attempted to address the situation while the unprofessional manager from this place began to belittle my friend while he was very confused of the situation what let to our group being ask to leave. When we immediately agree to leave my credit card wasn’t being provided back until we ask if it wasn’t return that we would call police. Finally I obtain my card with overcharged purchase I didn’t make.
