Finally a bar that's not too loud, but not too quiet if you know what I mean. Best bar in Downey by far, the owner Gee is the man. Great appetizers + drinks

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at this establishment. Initially, it was one of my favorite spots to go eat and grab a few drinks. They always have amazing food, and the ambiance of the bar/lounge is just gorgeous, complete with old movies playing on a big screen with great music. It really is a beautiful establishment, However, despite my initial love for this place, I regret to say that I will not be returning. My husband and I rarly get time for ourselves, let alone a chance to go out without the kids, so when my visiting sister offered to watch the kids, we Eagerly jumped at the opportunity and decited on Bella Lounge for our date night. We were having an amazing time as always until things took a turn for the worse when our server approached us. She asked if we remembered her from our previous visit and that we had walked out on the tab. My husband and i were initially shocked, but she clarified that It turned out that we had forgotten to pay for just two addional beers on top of our substantial bill from before. We apologized, and my husband offered to add the unpaid tab to today's bill, and that should have ended the conversation, but it didn't. She proceeded to tell us about how much trouble she got in and how she had to pay for it herself. The conversation was making me uncomfortable, and I felt terrible about the oversight. My emotions were already on the verge from a stressful day, and the last thing I needed was to feel bad about myself. This is when i began to cry. My husband calmly asked to speak to the owner to rectify the situation. However, things escalated quickly, and I found myself overwhelmed with anger and frustration. It seemed absurd to me that such a big deal was being made over two beers and the owner believed he was doing the right thing by bringing the two unpaid beers to our attention so it would never happen again. I couldn't believe this establishment made such a huge deal out of a small little mistake for two bottled beers... especially considering our consistent support for the establishment with bills well over $100 each visit. In the end, I felt unfairly treated and vowed never to return. The owner's reaction, including calling for security to escort me out, only solidified my decision. I can not in good conscience recommend this place to my friends and family after such a disappointing and disproportionate response to a simple mistake.

My friends recommended us to try this place and I must say it was a great recommendation. Great experience and very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and down to earth made you feel comfortable the manager Mr. B was very helpful, friendly and professional he recommended the popular drinks and food he also added some humor which made feel at home. We will most definitely make more frequent visits at the Bella Lounge.

Place is cute. The owner is a bit of a prick. He walks around the place looking like he has major anxiety. Some of the drinks are a bit pricey. One of the things I don't like at all is they will not change your drink for something different if you don't like what you ordered. They don't care about forcing you to drink something you don't like.

Bartenders are great! Our waitress is amazing didn't get her name but she had long blonde curly hair such a nice girl! Espresso martini was delicious the Irish car bomb and whiskey sour were easily one of the best ones I've tasted!

I absolutely love that they have Breakfast at Tiffany's playing. #TrumanCapote The specialty cocktails are exceptional; it took me a minute to choose the "Grace Kelly". The manager is a total gentleman. Packed for Valentine's weekend.

It gave the vibes of Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Dandridge glamorous Hollywood vixen. 5/5 Drinks: the drinks names were cute and the drinks themselves were tasty. Not very strong but delicious none the less 4/5 Food: the board was tasty and beautifully plated. Would've liked the fruit to have been cut or at least two pieces as the portion is shareable. So wish they would've had more food options ( so eat before you go as this is a drink and snack type bar) 3/5 Service: underwhelming. Our server was nice and attentive for the most part. The gentleman that may have been the owner or manager wasn't the nicest and made the beginning of the night very uncomfortable for my friend who was meeting me there. 2/5 On a grading scale I'd give it a C. Definitely room for improvement but overall average.

First time here, wanted to try a different spot in the neighborhood. I don't like tequila and Laura was able to make me a Mexican candy shot with Gin and it was honestly really good. The Bella board was really good but some of the fruit was too soft. Good first experience overall, pretty little spot. Gonna come back just for the booths in the back alone! My girlfriend and I will definitely be back soon.

This is my FAVORITE SPOT! All my girls love coming here for many reasons. The drinks are delicious. We always go for lemon drops. We recently tried the yellowtail crudo and it's so good!! The service omg we love our beautiful girl Paula. She's the BEST and can't forget Anto he's also the BEST! He's always so welcoming that's why we love coming here the vibe is very much it. Can't get any better. 5 star!!!!
