Rondell did a great job serving out big party on Father’s Day. He was so seamless with refills we didn’t even see him when we saw a new drink. Chef Precious gave us Great food and a better time. She was super helpful, patient and interactive with the kids as well as us. Treated us like good people and made sure we remembered both her name and the food! Great service, Great Vibes would come again

Soon after they went around the table assisting us in ordering. 2 hours later we still havnt got our food but all that was brought to the table was salad and soup. Food was incredible, chef was amazing and serves were cooperative The only issue we encountered was having to be patient with people waiting for the same chef. While my mother and I waited 40 minutes for the chef another customer gets 5 minutes before the chef

Here it goes, 7pm was our reservation (everyone was on time) Including people not in our group 730pm they just took our beverage order no one came before this 743pm we barley got our drinks 750pm they just took our food order 803pm we just got our salad and onion soup 814pm chef started cooking which is an hour 14 mins after our reservation Our waitress got the order wrong, my son had steamed white rice and he didn't get it till we were almost leaving, there were 2 birthdays in our table and the usual ice cream was never offered or given, drinks were never refilled, chef was great waitress was not attentive to our table at all. This is the 3rd time we come to benihana downey and it's a bad experience in comparison to other benihanas locations. Total times we been here is 3 times which 2 were really bad experiences.Other benihanas we had a good memorable experience.

Terrible service!! Had a reservation for 3:30 arrived a bit early around 2:40. Seated shortly after reservation time. An hour and half passed by and chef still didn't serve us by 5pm! It wasn't busy at all. Not sure where the delay came from. The workers were nice but didn't seem like anyone wanted to actually work today.

Worst service in history of restaurants!!!! Kristin (server name spelling?) negative 1000000 stars. Our waitress checked on us twice before our food ever was finished. During and after the meal we had to ask multiple people to get our server, never automatically refilled any drinks or brought anything we ever asked for. She was slow, only to notice her outside on her phone, or standing around near the computer doing nothing. if i had an option to change her tip from her to go all to our awesome chef Chris, that would be the preferred option.
