Best quesadilla i Ever had portion was better then I expected. Best customer service he even keep my food warm so when I picked it up it was still hot 🔥

I just ordered birria quesa tacos and lemme tell you, theres little to no cheese in these , basically tacos de birria. I do not recommend

was excited to have found this spot after their whittier location closed. We used to go for their salsa all the time. we came in good faith excited to hopefully buy some. NOT. whoever that man was said they had NO salsa! weird, we saw the serving bottle right there. anyways we drove to Teddy’s Red tacos down the street and bought their salsa for $4 🫶🏼 We no longer need wonder why Birrieria Gonzalez’s whittier location couldn’t stay open to customers and flies a like. this is the greed they talk about in the bible, may you have the business you deserve. It says it opens at 9am, got there at 10 and it was closed

I stopped by this place wanted to try the birria. I ordered an order of birria to dine in. Could not believe they didn't have PLATES, they use STYROFOAM box. Imagine HOT FOOD in STYROFOAM, what am I eating all those chemicals leached into my food. Had to take it and throw it. $20.00 to the trash. So disappointed, I will keep on going to real Mexican Birrieria, where they serve in real (not plastic )plates and use real utensils.

I really tried to support this local spot, but Birria González in Downey made it tough. Let’s just say my wallet took a bigger bite than I did. Ordered a large consommé—turns out their definition of ‘large’ is just a sad, overpriced cup of broth playing hide-and-seek with the meat. And the tacos? The tortillas were so tiny, I thought they accidentally gave me a sampler. For these prices, I was expecting a feast, not a snack. Not coming back—I’ll let my cravings and my bank account recover elsewhere!

I asked for no onions they gave me onions 💀 the service is super slow. It took like 15 minutes for the cook to cook 4 tacos 😭 the employees were nice but making 4 tacos isn't that hard 🗿
