First time at this location. I frequent the Cerritos location quite often. Food was good. Service is horrible. Never did receive my Tomatoes & Feta. Said they were going to bring it to my table never did. Floors are dirty along the windows you can see cobwebs from lack of cleaning. I will never be back to this location. I give restaurants one chance. They lost my family's business.

I enjoy my time at Fish Grill Downey, CA. My Mom and I got the Shrimp Tacos, and they were good and filling! I’m definitely going back. Everyone serving us was really nice and helpful. We went on a day before the lunch crowd and it was so nice and there was a quiet atmosphere that I really enjoyed!

I love coming here. Since I have gastritis I have to eat healthy meals. I get the grilled chicken well done, with the white rice and zucchini. My tummy loves it and it doesn't upset my stomach with my gastritis. Happy tummy , happy Gal 😊

You can self order up front at the two kiosks and grab your order and drink cup near the food counter. Plenty of seating inside and some outside as well.
I ordered the grilled swai with garlic butter sauce ($8.25), rosemary zucchini for my side, a soda, and clam chowder ($7.99). Fish was tender and flaky. I never feel heavy eating their rosemary zucchini and it's full of flavor. Decent amount of clams in the chowder; it didn't feel like the soup was overpowered by potatoes. I was curious about their pineapple cream soda so I tried it for my soft drink selection: yummy, though definitely on the sweet side.
Their staff were courteous and friendly. Appreciate them grabbing our tray from our table.
This California Fish Grill location is in an area with a variety of stores for you to walk around after the meal. Browsed the selection at Daiso and ended up finding some unexpected items at TJ Maxx. Lots of parking too, so an easy spot for a meal and meetup!

I came with my mom last week and the food was surprisingly tasty and delicious definitely the salmon with white rice and zucchini was definitely the best of the restaurant’s choices and the staff were friendly I would definitely come back:)
