DIOSA Downey Reviews
The atmosphere was astonishing I was mesmerized as I tried to catch ever beautifully decorated chandelier and pieces of art Mosaic, especially the ginormous faux melting candle. Just as you catch from the side of your eyes it a cart wheeling private bar tender inquiring on if you would like a margarita! We ordered a $75.00 plate of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops; I was disappointed for that price they give one shrimp a d two scallops? Steak was the bomb dot com though.
Beautiful place. Great food. Wonderful service

DIOSA Downey offers an enjoyable dining experience characterized by attentive service and a lively atmosphere. The staff is friendly and eager to customize menus and make special recommendations. The menu features dishes like the Caesar salad, steak empanadas, carnita tacos, guacamole, shrimp Alfredo enchiladas, and protein bowls. Happy hour includes drinks such as watermelon mocktails, paletas, and the Gemini margarita, which are popular and delicious. Guests particularly enjoy the unique chips and salsa, which tastes like it was fire roasted. The chicken taquitos are flavorful and moist, served with a Serrano dipping chutney-like salsa, while the enchiladas suizas are cheesy and fresh, with tasty chicken and a hint of salsa verde or tomatillos. The Al mojo de ajo is highly recommended for its citrusy, garlicky flavor, creamy texture, and grilled crusty bread, making it a standout dish. The restaurant is a great choice for celebrations, with staff going above and beyond to make special occasions memorable, sometimes even serving champagne and ice cream for birthdays. The elegant décor and aesthetics enhance the atmosphere, making it feel really special. While service is generally good, some reviews note that food can take a little longer to come out, and there could be someone at the front desk to greet guests. Overall, Diosa Downey is a lively spot with great food and drinks that many find worth the wait, making it a place they hope to visit again.
