They're closed and they're still accepting orders online... I can't tell if they're permanently closed or just today (weird since it's LENT and a FRIDAY). Not knowing they're closed, I placed an order and their online order merchant has ZERO customer service for me to get a refund.

Their food is bomb but a bit overpriced. I thought it would be a small hole in the wall restaurant but it was a bit pricey. Good food but a bit expensive. It's a small place & they seemed pretty clean. The staff was a bit quiet but pretty average overall.

Visited a few weeks ago and ordered to go. Not only was I overcharged based on what the menu prices stated, but when I opened my order at home it was wrong. I called in to let them know and was told to return and they would make me a new order. When I arrived they told me I had to pay for the new order despite saying they would give me a whole new plate for the mistake on my initial order. I let them know I wouldn't pay twice as they had said to go and just pick up a new one. At the end my order was left there and based on that I will not return to this restaurant.

Closed on open hours. I'm wondering if the restaurant is actually permanently closed.

It's a hidden gem! I would 100 percent recommend this place to any sea food lover. They specialize in Sinaloense style seafood. The servers and chefs are very friendly. The ambience is nice, they have screens with popular Mexican music videos. My bf and I have tried most of their dishes. This is what we have tried and recommend; Tuna Fit Aguachile de camarón Platillo J Ceviche de camarón Coctel de camarón y pulpo Comadre Empanada de camarón Camarones zarandeados Taco chile mar y Tierra and also the taco chile de camarón Ensalada con camarones roca Albóndigas de camarón

We came on Saturday night, with no waiting at all. Service is fast and friendly, and food is scrumptious! I order a taco “El pulpo enamorado” (octopus in love), and I love it! I also order a tostada tuna… simply delicious! Full of flavor, good price, good spot to enjoy a real Sinaloa seafood. A real Mexican food restaurant. Highly recommended.

No se lavan las manos. The cooks are touching food, ingredient and everything with their bare hands. One of the cooks sneezed and didn't even bother washing his hands. The complimentary chips shouldn't even be handed to customers; they are drenched in oil. Shrimp don't taste fresh

Food is delicious and high quality. Fancy Sinaloa Style Mariscos. My fave Mariscos place right now. The service is always good. The place is small and chill.

I hate to leave a bad review but this place was not it. The hype is just that. Hype. I've had mariscos sinaloenses many times and I love it. I live in Downey and have Paramount next door so there's plenty of mariscos options around here.... This was very underwhelming. Firstly the ingredients were room temp. We ordered a shrimp ceviche with raw and cooked shrimp... tasted like a bottle of Clamato with no spice whatsoever. We also ordered the "combinado" for $37 which had a total of 5 small scallops that didn't blow my mind, a bunch of octopus, room temp raw shrimp and cooked shrimp all with visible veins. Nothing worse than mushy raw shrimp. all was insufficiently seasoned. The salsa negra was not it. Not spicy at all. We tried adding the bottled salsas and none were "wow" With these prices and subpar food, I'd go elsewhere. The staff was very busy socializing while we were the only customers... long wait to order. The server was pleasant but again, for the high prices, expect better. The pictures are deceiving. 2 plates and nearly $80 later... it's a no for me.

First place ever that I have been to that has authentically replicated Sinaloa style mariscos. I can never seem to enjoy the authentic taste of mariscos in other places as the taste is always off or something is missing to give me a little taste of home. Food is great, authentic, and most importantly FRESH!! I can not stress the importance of this as many places have fed me freezer burned seafood or even at times old! 10/10 recommend, music can be a bit loud but I do tend to have this sensitivity. Check it out when in Downey, a must try!
