This has been my go-to spot for Cuban Sandwiches for years. The mango drink is also really great, and I recommend it to just about anyone wanting great Cuban cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is currently undergoing a renovation, but once it opens back up, business will be booming as usual.
The server was either having an off day or she didn't care to give us good service that day, but the servers wasn't the best. We waited around for a menu it was a party of four and we only got one menu, the high chairs are old and unsafe. The food is isn't as good as it used to be. The chicken soup tasted sour. And the ropa vieja was good though. I give it 3 stars only because the ropa vieja.
They have raised the prices a bit which is expected with all the changes happening to the economy. The food is still delicious and the portions are a good size. They have changed the menu items a bit as well but it didn't bother me too much. It still tastes like I'm eating the best home cooked meal. I will still be coming here.
