Came here during my vacation a few years ago. First time ever eating their world famous burgers. I was very happy with their hamburgers. The fries need improvement. Friendly staff. Old school restaurant.

Stephanie, who was working today at 2:45 PM on Friday, needs to seriously adjust her attitude. She comes across as condescending while hiding behind a fake friendly demeanor. This behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable.

What a bad experience in this location. There are only 3 hamburgers in the menu and they don’t know how to serve you. The complete order was wrong. And the wait is horrendous. I prefer to drive all the way to Santa Fe Spring location with plenty parking and great service than come back to Downey.

This is a great cheeseburger restaurant. The shake has a small straw so it doesn't suck well. I recommend carbonated drinks!
Yall tripping being cheap asf nowadays. Just picked up a burger and i get some to the Soda Dispensers running water instead of the soda mix.
Good thing this town just put up a Chick-fil-A and shakeshack across the street

The place wasn't exactly very clean. We also went later that night. But the burgers were very tasty with delicious sauce. In my opinion one of the best burger chains in California. Be sure to try the burgers from the secret menu.

I was excited to try In-N-Out. I don't have one where I live, but I went to one while traveling in California. Let's start with the cheese fries... they may as well have still been frozen. And the cheese... did you use a kraft single and throw it in the microwave? Fries 0/10
Burger.... I got a single with cheese. The bun had the texture of a crouton. And the burger was so underseasonsed and bland. 0/10
The only thing I can praise yall on is the price. I got a whole "meal" for 12-13$ in Downey, CA. That has to be the only reason people like this place. It's cheap. Got to be. The parking lot was full. Line wrapped around the building and into the street. 100% deceitful. In-N-Out is exactly what I should have done. Walked in, turned around, and walked out.

Kinda pricey now for a burger. It's like 5.60 for a double cheeseburger. $10 for the whole thing.
You are better off buying 2 pounds of beef for that price.
If you could afford the gourmet cool, but everyone else. The investment into it and time into outweighs the cost.
