We visited LKSD in Downey on January 28. It was lunch date with my fiancé and was recommended by me. I’ve seen posts on their Instagram social media and was interested in trying it. We got there maybe an hour into them opening and it was completely empty. It was very dark and intimate (which we didn’t mind), due to them filming and taking photos to promote a new drink on their social platforms. The gentleman that assisted us was very attentive and made sure to check in on us as we dined. The food was quick, fresh and tasteful. My fiancé ordered a filet steak with fingerling potatoes, I had wings and a salad. Everything was tasty but I’m curious on the ambience and environment at night when there is a crowd. We will come back for the evening crowd.

This place is such a vibe! Made the trek from south OC but worth it. Started with sushi platter and lobster Mac 😋 then for mains had the Mess burger which had hot Cheetos(loved it) & the TomaHawk, it was huge we shared between four of us. I am a bartender so I’m super picky about drinks & they delivered! They were delicious and fresh. We ended with dessert and it was on fire literally. It was a cute little show. What made the whole experience really stand out though was our server, Bryan, he was just fantastic. The owner Arturo was there and he was the cherry on top. Super welcoming and nice.

Made reservations for no reason the not organized. Waited in line for 2 hours just for them to keep taking people behind us. SMH last time ever coming back

Not sure why we had a reservation cause we didnt get a table for 2 until 30 minutes after original time. Sat for another 5 min before anyone approached us. We got fancy papertowel for a napkin tho. Tiny plates to eat our tomahawk steak from lol. Food was over priced and not worth all the other inconveniences that come along with it. Overall price and service is poor. I will never return.

Love this spot when it comes to cocktails. They are the best in town. If you like great drinks this is the spot. My favorite things to eat here are the steaks, drunken mussels and the Mac and lobster 🦞.

This place is great for a chill night out. A date or hangout with your lady or maybe friends. The Tomahawk steak is delicious. Drinks are good especially the old fashions. The atmosphere is awesome. Pretty cool scene here. The service is good also.

The service here was not great and staff seemed to be in a bad mood. It was difficult to find someone to take our order. The drinks were pretty, but there was virtually no alcohol. When ordering a whiskey on the rocks, it was about a half ounce pour for well over $13. Not to mention how long it took to get a drink. The food lacked seasoning. But the worst part was how dirty their dishes were. Definitely not worth the price.

The food was great, I especially loved the Elote. The service was very good and except for noise levels which I don't care for while eating. I do recognize this is a bar focused restaurant and they tend to be loud. It would have been a five all around otherwise. Would go back definitely for the food, in fact we did twice! Posting a pic of the to-go tiramisu. Enough for four people and beautifully packaged.
