Posole soooo good. Torta was also very good. Bread was fresh. Very tasty. Beautiful bar and restaurant. Very clean and staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

I think this spot is a restaurant during the day and turns into a club at night. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. They had a band playing but the music was very specific, more regional than anything. The songs were very similar and just felt very repetitive. Music was a huge miss for me. In order to sit at a table you have to order either a bottle or a minimum of 3 buckets. We wanted to use two tables to ended up ordering 6 buckets of beer. Each container comes with 6 beers. Can't remember the price tho, think they were about $40 each but not certain. Overall it gives sketchy vibes. Also, super male dominated spot. Soooo many guys compared to the few girls in there. Probably won't be back.

Their homemade tortillas are amazing--find a way to have those!--as is their homemade chipotle (that's chi-pote-lay, not chi-pole-tay, folks) sauce. DAYUM. Need I say more? No. Go there. Eat. You'll be glad (or gassy) you did!

I love the food here. Most people assume it's just a club with live music on weekends but they are open during the day. It's usually quiet during the day too. Service is friendly and attentive. Any of their Mexican options are killer. Even their rice and beans. Idk what they do to that rice but it's magical. I love their pastor mulitas the best. Shrimp tacos are delicious. They gave GOOOOD pozole. Please try Mambo you won't regret it!!!!!!!
Great food, great vibes and not to mention awesome live bands playing every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8pm-closing ! Perfect spot for a night out in Downtown Downey. Definitely recommend checking this place out !!!!

I can honestly say I would never return to this place. It’s tiny with no proper AC. Not only that but it’s so crowded that you feel like a sardine. There’s constant beer on the floor and I even witnessed a girl falling while I was there.

Well the menu sounded good but we couldn't get in. The Yelp listing and their door says they close at 12AM on Sunday.. which is midnight! It was 1pm and they were closed. No one there at all. Fix your sign and listing.

It was only a matter of time before the ambience got to where it led for a shooting to occur at this place they stuff 100 people inside its never a good thing to mix alcohol and rowdy people from the surroundings areas ...... service has always been lacking at this place too
