El Sobrino is a small, cozy birria place with good food and okay service. With only 4 tables, seating may be limited during early mornings. The quesadillas were big, the burrito came with consomé, and the birria platter was solid. The menudo is delicious, with a generous amount of tendons and tripes in the flavorful broth. The staff were great and very welcoming. The menudo is very good and the mulita is also a favorite, tasting like fresh homemade food. The tacos are tasty and reasonably priced. A go-to spot for satisfying your menudo cravings, with some customers even visiting every week to eat the best menudo with tendon and pata.
