The owner is in the kitchen helping cook and he constantly monitors how much the staff is serving the guest. You could see how uncomfortable they felt. They serve small portions compared to other panda restaurants.
I placed an online order and it was ready in 5 minutes, the store was packed with people around 5:20 p.m. and the team were very efficient. I waited at the pickup area and the cashier was busy, when he finish his current customer he asked me if I'm here for the online order. I show him the text that my food is ready and he located my foot and handed me to my food right away. I was so hungry I sit in the car finish my food while watching people waited in store lineup forever....
I had a great experience with the Panda Express Downey staff this evening on 08/05/2024. The late night shift staff were so wonderful and a pleasant bunch of young men and women. They have good customer service. Thanks! ??
