Worse Peruvian place I have been to. Might as well go to El Rocoto in Cerritos. The ceviche mixo is old and hard I complained and all the lady serving us said was “ok” never came to our table to ask how we were doing food took 50 mins to come out. Mind you it was empty only like 2 other people there. The old lady with dark makeup had an attitude even when she took our order. I had to go to the counter to get my refills for water? Came to drop off our food and thats it never came by our table. She seemed to be bother when i even got up to get a refill for my water. So expensive and the food is awful. I would not recommend the jalea is suppose to be fried and cooked. Why was my food raw? The shrimp was over cooked awful and why was it HARD?!? The food here is probably old and bad. We literally paid and left all the food was left there are they not embarrassed? Ended up going to another place to eat because this place was literally a -10 . Why is a can of inca cola $6? When in the menu it said $4? There prices are scams. Go somewhere else and save your money from this place. Me and my grandparents will NOT be coming back!

I have dined at several other Peruvian restaurants that are likely more popular, but Cholito surpasses them all. We consistently order the lomo saltado and tallerines, which are very flavorful and delicious. The service is always great and attentive.

Pretty decent spot for good Peruvian food! I called ahead for pick-up, but still had to wait about 15-20 min to get my food after arrival. That was the only bummer.
But the lady working was really sweet, the food was delicious, and the place looked like it was fairly busy on a Sunday evening. The restaurant itself is cutely decorated and had a nice feel to it. Parking lot is a tad small, considering the other establishments it shares the lot with.
Overall, great spot that I'd go to again.

Delicious breakfast and very good service, the meals at lunch time are also the best. The Cholito breakfast was recommended, the tamale had a very good flavor with its Creole sauce, fried sweet potatoes and chicharrón with good seasoning, my husband ate a poor-style steak with everything just right. Isabela's attention was excellent.

Well, the truth is, it was a very bad experience. They served us a plate of parihuela on one plate. The man made two dishes. It was very bad. It was not fresh. It was cold. One plate had more seafood than the other and from the beginning he looked at us from the window to see. If we realized, it was very expensive, $65 for two dishes, which really has nothing to do with it, very bad service, very bad attitude from the owner because he was the owner. The truth is, I don't recommend it, it's a crappy restaurant.

Pure acid ceviche, burnt field and 6 onions Green chili only that GREEN chili (-0 flavor) Chicken from the previous day, without flavor and watery potatoes…
The worst thing is that it does not have a COLLECTION SYSTEM, therefore it charges you according to the CRITERIA of the waitress... they do not give you a bill and if you do not add up correctly they charge you additional charges... which obviously if it is CASH it remains as profit to the person who served you very Apart from the tip, I wonder if it is possible in this almost 2025 to bring a paper bill made with a pen to the table??? A MOCK, the truth!
If we talk about innovation, this place stayed in the year of the cart….
I would like to add a photo of the “ballot” but unfortunately they don't give you anything, so there is no need to include.
