As a resident of Downey, ive always drove by this location wanting to try it, and after today I should have kept on driving. Ive never been disappointed at a Peruvian restaurant until today. I ordered a whole chicken and they served it half way cooked, at first I thought it was marinade that seapped into the chicken but no it was blood, not to mention the smell coming from the chicken foul. The chicken appeared cooked from the exterior but no it was raw on the inside. The plantains were good but it's kind of hard to ruin anything fried, the fries good, the white rice good, the beans good but the star of the dish was disappointing. The only reason for this detailed review is due to the stomach pains and diarrhea I'm now dealing with, mind you in only had a single bite. I knew, there was something wrong when other guests kept coming in complaining on missing take out items or wrong orders. Please don't come here unless your okay with being sick.

Went to the christmas pop up. Not a full bar. Poorly trained staff, even for a pop up. But the worst thing was the kids. And not young people. Literally children running around. Can we please not normalize children at a bar.

I ordered half a grilled chicken. They gave me reheated chicken and potatoes, potatoes that were soaked in oil again, the potatoes came out looking like lay potatoes because they were so recooked.

My sisters & I ordered a whole chicken with rice & salad. We added the sauce & some Peruvian style green spicy sauce. Man!!! It’s delicious. Strongly recommend this “Little hole in the wall”.

The peop here are rude , the chicken tastes mostly like Ginger the fries always soggy the lomo saltado dry no juice and the Arroz chafa dry meat very few pieces of meat andb no egg or vegetables . I have tried all the dif dishes and nope nothing tastea as it should!

Haven't come here in awhile and decided to come again. Wow! What a horrible experience. The lady which I believe she The owner is very rude. They close at 8pm I got there at 7:22 pm and she said only orders for take out, I had plenty of time to eat inside. Besides, I asked for a cup of ice and she wanted to charge $3.00??? Seriously?? I to her haven't came in a long time, but will be my last visit here! Very rude manners. Don't recommend this place.
