Im sad to say after craving a California burrito for about 2 weeks so finally my daughter and myself decided to order since we were cleaning the new home and had been moving and not wanting to cook we said let order so she called in the order 2 carne asada California burritos one with the guacamole on the side simple right well we go pick them up and drive all the way back to her home like 20 minutes away we sit down open up the burritos and the order is incorrect we get a chicken burrito so my daughter calls and they apologize and say we can go back whenever to get the correct burrito and keep the chicken burrito so I’m mad because I don’t want to drive back later and so I said no I’m coming now I asked if they can deliver they say no I ask is someone paying for my gas that I’m wasting they say no they say to keep the burritos I want to take them back they can’t they say so I drive back 21 minutes then Rudy comes out to bring me the food which at this point is 2 burritos and says no pico de gallo at my daughters request earlier I said hmm I don’t remember hearing her say that since I was in the car with her while she placed the order but I said okay even thanked Rudy for the way they handled the matter and gave him a tip which he did refuse but I insisted because why I kinda felt bad I don’t know but I did say I understand mistakes happen but the inconvenience of having to drive all the way back and it was warm out and we’re tired from cleaning and moving boxes so I make my way back and OMG the worst remake of a Burrito ever the little scraggly pieces of asada was obviously done that way and with hard over cooked fries inside dry and mostly was tortilla because the first one was made properly they were remade with anger and and with the attitude of I’ll teach them a lesson kind of thing just so disgusting and wrong to do oh and Rudy the manager even said he checked the original ticket that the person entered into the system said we asked for chicken which was incorrect even then I said I understand mistakes are made but the burrito went in the trash and the chicken burrito I gave to my son in law so I spent money unnecessarily that day never going back there again too bad they closed the Rubio’s in Lakewood

They made some great changes the last visit It was OK but I noticed they made a lot of improvements with their proportions and their customer service and today’s service and food was excellent I’m beyond happy !!!! We support you Rubio’s !!!
