Had to report the manager to corporate, miss Kamilla. I was waiting for two Ubereats orders that said ready however the wait time was exceeding almost 30 minutes. Meanwhile she made a wrong drink for someone else and went to another station while the bag stayed empty. I asked another employee if the order was ready (excessive wait time) and she yells across the room “it’s being prepared MAAM” as if she was already having a bad day. I sat back down in distress because I’m on the clock and the customers are waiting… she finally hands me the order and says “you’re banned here and I am reporting you to ubereats for rudeness” I was in no way being rude, I kept to myself and waiting silently until I asked one other employee about the wait time. I had every right to be annoyed for the wait time in general. I grew up in Downey and don’t appreciate being banned from my hometown store for no reason... I go to Starbucks everyday and have spent so much money with this company. I reported her to corporate and gave my number to the district manager to speak further. Kamilla was extremely unprofessional and can’t handle this environment as a manager. To speak so boldly on behalf of Starbucks, she needs to be reported. Everyone else was very kind. Sorry you had a bad day Kamilla but don’t bring your problems to work. If you had your store under control you wouldn’t have petty time to ban hard working drivers who help pay your salary. I will be writing my review everywhere. I’m not banned lol corporate make that clear.

Beware of the morning shift! This place needs to grow up. It’s Downey not Compton… let’s get it right girls, without the ghetto attitude please. You have one job…. Put the coffee in the cup, pour syrup and milk… the directions are on the cup! I’m tired of them screwing up. I once got a cup of milk no coffee! This place always fails, I hardly come here but if I do I always regret it. They are constantly talking, no hands on the drinks.. there’s no manager regulating. They all seem in a click against the customer.. like we are ruining their day. These gals can’t handle pouring coffee… please quit your day job. You’re terrible at it. The manager/supervisor should be ashamed of themselves. I’m embarrassed to say this type of staff is in Downey. Feels like the ghetto

This place is so UNPROFESSIONAL!! And all the reviews here seem to be right. I ordered 4 Vanilla Bean Frappuccinos and waited for almost 20 minutes. They would call out my name four times, and they would do one by one. They need to hire more people here and professional ones too. Plus, it even tasted like water not the same favor I always get in different locations. This is probably the worst one in Downey CA. I am never coming back here. Wouldn't recommend coming here for just a drink.

Staff needs some real professional training. They wouldn’t last in a real world job. Waited 35 min for my order. It was made completely wrong. After expressing my concern to staff named Kamillae, I got her back turned and the drink handed off to someone else to redo. She ignored me the rest of the wait and keep staring me down. The Asian girl who helped after was kind but she was also busy and shouldnt have to do the other girls work. I’m going to Downey landing Starbucks from now on…the staff here is full of themselves.

I come here often and they are pretty sweet but today I dropped a drink right in front of the store and they had me pay for another one? I guess I shouldn’t have expected I free one. just thought it was bad costumer service considering It fell right outside the door. Very Disappointed with this place.
