I don’t recommend this place after seeing how they treat their customers. As I was checking out the young lady with glasses and short reddish hair sat four 6’5 men on the smallest table. They barley fit. You know eating with your hands you need space! So they nicely asked her to change to a bigger both. She had the audacity to tell them no, the table is for 6 people! And if they wanted to sit there they would have to pay gratuity to make up for the extra seats. NO FREAKING WAY. Unbelievable. They agreed. How sad. Wont be back. Service on top of that tonight was terrible at 6:30 pm. No one asked how we were doing, I would have told them my shrimp tasted watered down! What a waste of money. And I still left a tip! Maybe staff should be taught to accommodate customers, what if there was a disabled customer who needed a bigger table? Would she have done the same? Not good customer service. Mind you, there were plenty of booths available because they had just finished their dinner rush.

There was only one server who was complaining about her coworker calling off and she was the only one on the floor.I was standing behind the man she was venting to & she completely ignored me and my party to let the party AFTER us know she was no longer seating people for dinner.It's Friday night and barely 8PM the restaurant closes at 10PM.I tried calling to confirm a wait time prior to arriving and the phones were disconnected.The server didn't even acknowledge us at all and just watched us walk out.Over all horrible experience.

Visiting from NorCal. Called 2 minutes before arrival and they said no wait got there had to wait 10 minutes. We sat down at 8pm, tables are very small and sitting is cramped. Service was kind and prompt. Food arrived at table quickly and portions were generous. Sushi was average and seemed to cater to local clients. Overall was a solid 3 stars.

I was craving some Viet- Cajun seafood (Houston tx style seafood). This place looked promising but fell a little short.I'm glad that I can find some food like this so far from home, but the seafood seasoning was watery. I'm used to a melted butter base with garlic and various mixed dry seasoning.My seafood here had a salted taste on the front end with a light Cajun taste on the back end. I will say the service was amazing and friendly, and the sausage was solid, but it doesn't really satisfy the craving.

Worse customer service. Not kids friendly. While sitting in one of the tables I saw customers coming in. Manager Elene approached them and took their order right away knowing My family and I were waiting patiently, for someone to take our order. Waited 45 min no food arrived. Finally part of our order arrived but it was the wrong order and they expect us to eat it. Let me mention my KIDS food NEVER arrived. I approached the manager Elene and instead of giving me a valid explanation she keep rolling her eyes. Really bad attitude. Very unprofessional.Kid-friendliness: Don’t take your KIDS to this place.Downey staff priorities adults.

Great Cajun place. When they throw out a fresh plastic table "cloth" you know the place is legit. Meal was out fast and came in a bag. Never say a piece of silverware! And that's a good thing! Shrimp is frozen, but that's kinda expected for the weat coast. Hard to tell though. Corn, potatoes and sausage are excellent as well. Calamari was a little overcooked for me, but tasted good. I need a place like this back home!Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat with their hands!

Yikes, first i'm a big fan of seafood and wanted to try this restaurant chain out with the family. we waited an hour to be seated because it was pretty crowded. our order was taken and we got our drinks quick but we waited 40 minutes until i had to ask the waiter where our food was. they said the ticket must have gotten lost so they'll get right on it and gave us 10% off for the inconvenience. they ended up bringing our drink orders out again and still forgot about the food. when we finally got our food, it wasn't great and i have been to much better places than this restaurant. the oysters were not good and the waitress offered us cocktail sauce to go with it, but it was marinara sauce... the seafood bag ended up tasting like spaghetti sauce and i just didn't think it was a good mixture with the seafood. 2 people in my party ended up feeling sick a couple hours later, including myself getting food poisoning for the first time. overall i would not go back and unfortunately would not recommend this place as a good seafood restaurant.
