I stopped here a couple of weeks ago. I grabbed a chocolate creme pie to go and it was absolutely amazing. The lady working the cashier was amazing and offered great customer service. I decided to grab some chilaquiles to go, and honestly, they were pretty bad; it was as if I ordered chips with a splash of salsa. The pie, however, was five stars.

My friend and I stopped in for something light while waiting. We got the chocolate pie—it was good, though I was surprised it was a whole mini pie, not a slice. Solid snack.
Service:
My waiter—a bald guy with a medium-thick mustache—was just going through the motions. Dry, not very engaged. Hardly checked on us.

Cool old-school local restaurant vibe. I liked the look. Beyond that, it was what it was.

I went in at 1:00 pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was half empty. The food felt too rushed. The omelette was under seasoned. The potatoes on the side were over peppered and burnt. The pancakes were average. On the menu the syrup they have is either maple or boysenberry. When I asked for pancakes the server did not clarify which syrup I wanted and I ended up getting boysenberry. The default should be maple as both syrups look the same but taste completely different. The best thing about the restaurant is the hospitality.

Visited with my family after church and it was satisfying, I love their mimosas. Every time I go I say I’m going to order something different but I haven’t I just like their biscuits and gravy too much!

Today, Sunday Oct 27th, we were shopping with my wife, and just on the way we thought of stopping by for breakfast. The truth had never caught my attention to eat in the place, but we decided to venture out.
My wife ordered Chilaquiles, we wanted green sauce but they said they only had red sauce. Totally disgusting. I think they just put a little tomato sauce on the chips, passed in the pan and were served. That was horrible. I ordered a Denver Omelette, the onion I think was neither lava nor peeled. I think it was egg with onion juice. Wow, disappointed. Because the service is very fast, the place is very cozy, but the menu should be improved. It definitely needs new administration.

As advertised, best breakfast in town, and it truly was. A lovely old school diner. The food is prepared from scratch, nothing frozen, Evelyn said. And our server, Abel, made sure that everything was to our satisfaction.

The restaurant has legit a great cook. Food was amazing. The service was great and the atmosphere was like going back in time to the 70's, from the furniture down to the register, very 70's. Magical. Highly recommended
