First time in this place, it was great! Menudo is excellent amd the sopa de res.. Lucy and Sergio took care of us. Coffee was on tge weak side, however Lucy said she will take care of it. Cute and colorful stablishment. Will definently come back!
Went back on 1/10/2026 around 11am, had the menudo, always good.. The wife has been wanting the caldo de res, we been told it was either not ready or they didn't have any at all because all the ingredients where not there... I mean, beef and veggies....How can you not have that? And it wasn't the first time given that excuse... This place might be setting itself for failure.

Been here four times already and every time the food just hit the spot. Our waitress Erica was so nice and attentive. This has because our new favorite place since moving to Downey.
Tacos Downey Factory is a great little spot..a hidden gem! The staff, owner included, was extremely gracious, warm, welcoming, and very attentive. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, enough to share or take home for leftovers. The decor was festive Dia De Muertos and the Ofrenda was beautiful. We will definitely be back soon.
