the Downey Supper Club met and enjoyed food and service on Tuesday the 10th of March. we were a large group of about 40 people. we were seated on the patio and took up the entire space. there were multiple servers to assist our large group. the service was friendly and efficient. the food was super yummy: i didn't hear a negative thing from anyone in the group. the check out was super easy with their digital terminals, so there was no problem with 15 to 20 separate checks. this was our first time here but we would defiinitely return for the service and yummy food: and so should you

The Chicken was so dry two people sent it back. The services was slow and waitress brought the alcohol without glasses. She also brought the ketchup after we finished eating. The atmosphere was nice, and the music was nice. Overall, our table had a good time.because of us, not because of service.

We had a great experience at The Chicken Koop! The food was amazing and full of flavor, and the drinks were really good too. During a busy brunch hour, there were a couple of small issues with our order, but our waitress handled it very well. She did a great job getting everything corrected and brought back out to us promptly. Overall, great food and a solid experience we’ll definitely be back!

The host greeted us and made us feel welcomed. Very nice decore and clean. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The sides need improvement. The sides order of garlic fries were soggy and slightly cold. The chimmichury sauce was more liquid than the firm consistency. Our server hardly came to ask us how we were doing. Although she was very friendly and kind. They need ro improve on every plate that come out of their kitchen. Please try this establishment and gives us your experience.

I came here for brunch and overall the experience was pretty disappointing. We were greeted and seated quickly, but after that the service really fell off. It took a while before anyone brought us menus, and then we waited again for someone to come back and take our drink order.
We ordered the brunch mimosas, which come as a bottle of champagne with a juice of your choice. The strawberry juice was delicious and paired great with the champagne. As for the food, half of our group really enjoyed their meals and the other half thought it was just okay.
I eat them a lot. However, they always say to add meat +something. At the chicken Koop it just says “chilaquiles” so I ordered not thinking about the meat.
I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying the place gets loud, but the music wasn’t an issue for us — just a whole lot of Bruno Mars. We sat outside and were able to talk comfortably, though the place wasn’t busy (maybe five tables), so that probably helped.
For how slow the restaurant was, our server barely checked on us. Aside from a quick check-in after the food arrived, we had to flag her down for pretty much everything. When it came to the bottomless mimosa brunch, I understand restaurants have to be careful about overserving, but the service was slow from the very first drink order. The delays were excessive, especially considering the “bottomless” setup is just bringing another bottle since the juice is already at the table.
By the end, we were joking that we’d never left a brunch feeling so sober, which isn’t really what you expect from a bottomless situation.

Came for a friend date. Staff is very friendly. Food was delicious. And portion sizes were pretty big. We enjoyed our stay and food. Highly recommend the Poutine, and garlic chicken plate.
Good place to eat if you like your chicken in all types of way. The mix drinks are good as well. Fast service as well.

Well, I heard lots of good stuff about this place and decided to check it out with a friend. The service was amazing, from being greeted at the door to getting our check. The people that work there were all on point. Then there was the food. I had the belly buster, and it was good, but more waffles than chicken. Overall, it had good flavor, and I really liked the garlic fries that came with it. My friend had some sort of crunchy chicken salad, and she was not pleased with it at all. Unfortunately, the sesame dressing seemed to be a little off. The patio area was also very loud, to the point we almost had to yell to hear one another, and the plastic knives, spoons, and forks were not the most sturdy equipment to get the job done. I will come back again, but hopefully for a little better experience.
