Hi my name is Stuart ( Alex) Ventura, and the Chicken Koop is the best Latin food in L.A. and they give plentiful portions. The worker that attended me was amazing!! His name is OSCAR. THEY NEED TO GIVE OSCAR A RAISE!!!šŸ‘šŸ¾šŸ˜ŠšŸ’°

Chicken and waffles for brunch were perfect. The margarita flight was tasty. I was one of the first customers that day, and the place could have been cleaned up better. It was okay if it was already open for hours, but not first thing in the morning.

Great place to stop bynfor a bite a dn s drink with friends. They do take a while to get the food put but once its out it doesn't disappoint! Had their in-house michelada and the white and black pepper where a bit overpowering but the taste was good. Hope you stop by and see for yourself how good the food is.

Host with the glasses was very down to earth and helpful. Food was fantastic! Picked up but will dine in next time. Looks like a good vibe in there based on the music and crowd vibes.

The Chicken Koop was our very first proper meal after arriving in Los Ɓngeles, and it definitely set the bar high. Some of our local friends recommended it, and I’m so glad they did. I started the evening with a cocktail called The Farmer’s Daughter, a beautifully presented mix of vodka, hibiscus, pineapple, mint, and lime. While the presentation was lovely, the flavor just wasn’t quite for me. Here’s where the service truly shined, our server noticed I wasn’t enjoying it and graciously offered to replace it. She recommended a Moscow Mule instead, which turned out to be absolutely delicious, smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.
For my main dish, I had the Chicken Quesadilla. It came wrapped in a warm flour tortilla with a dipping sauce of my choice. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, simple but spot-on.
We also shared an order of Chicken Wings and Fried Cauliflower. The wings were a standout, we tried the House Peppered and BBQ flavors, and both were juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The cauliflower was a great vegetarian option, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and just as satisfying as the wings.
Overall, The Chicken Koop delivered a fantastic introduction to the LA food scene. Between the great food, stellar service, and laid-back, friendly atmosphere, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Spicy chicken is really spicy! I recommend going during lunch on a weekday because weekends get super crowded.

The atmosphere was good but, maybe it's my age, the music was too loud. We could hardly hear each other from across the table.

The chicken was OK, nothing really stood out.

The Micheladas were fire, and will definitely be back for another round.

Came here with my girlfriend and the place was very slow it was in the morning. There was like 3 servers and the host just talking to each other not acknowledging us. There was a worker flirting with the bar tender in front of us very unprofessional when there are people trying to get drinks. Then to top it all off my girlfriend’s food had a hair in it and we showed the server and they did nothing about it! The vibes I got from this place is that this is not an all inclusive place they definitely don’t like the LGBTQ community so stay away from here!! Since I have even seen video footage of other people having the same experience or worse than we did.
