Hands down my favorite spot. Any time “Mediterranean “ food gets brought up, I always recommend people to try this spot. This place is super good, can’t go wrong with a chicken and steak plate. The rice pudding is also super good, I try to get this place as much as I can.

The atmosphere here is horrible. They are no longer a proper restaurant. They are basically a to go place.
No plates or silverware if you request to be seated at one of the few tables here. You are served out of to go boxes...
The place is super loud, really crowded, and the AC is on set to super cold, with the fan blowing very intensely inside even in winter when it's freezing cold, raining, etc. outside.
Good luck if you have any questions about the menu or if you need anything. There is literally no table service here. We waited 10 minutes in line to order our food, it took 30 minutes to receive it, and we waited 10 more minutes in line to get a small garlic sauce.
As someone who has been coming here for 15 years, I'm very familiar with what a great place this used to be. We used to eat here twice a month for more than 10 years. It was truly a gem in Downey. It's shocking to see such a profound decline in the experience here... 😕
Wheelchair accessibility: Very difficult to get inside the restaurant with a wheelchair. Very narrow once your inside, and lots of people crowded next to the small # of tables makes it impossible to navigate.

I did order one filet mignon kabob plate witch was okay, also a falafel wrap that I don't recommend it was like a dogh from inside and not cooked and no flavor and the last was a filet mignon wrap that I didn't get, instead they gave me a shawerma wrap, I called to complain and the manager wants me to take pictures and share with them, I wasn't asking for credit or replacement but he still wants picture 🤔

I always assumed I did not like Mediterranean food but after trying Green Olive all that changed. My taste buds where awaken lol my go to plate is chicken skewers house salad hummus and a side of there potato's covered in the aji sauce. Do not get me stated on their salad sauce I can eat a bucket full of that. If you have not tried Green Olive I high recommend you do trust me you will love it. I love love there falafel. Over all a 10 out 10.
The Fliet Mignon and Chicken combination plate is absolutely delicious! Everything is made fresh and very good portions. The Hummus, Pita bread and salad are delicious too! The outdoor dining area is so nice on a warm day.

Must try, 10/10. Saturday night we Decided to Celebrate my husbands Birthday with a Small Dinner after a Business event we’d been at all day. Saturday night and we arrived around 7pm and were pleasantly surprised they had no wait for a table ( we were shocked since it was a Saturday night). Our Server was JJ and honestly he was the Sweetest person we us. The Restaurant was Suoer busy but JJ made it a point to continually stop numerous times to check on us. Food was amazing. We enjoyed an order of Falafel, a Mediterranean salad that blew my expectations and a King and Queen option which included 2 Kabobs (filet mignon and chicken) with a Bed of Garlic fries, veggies and a side of rice. JJ noticed we were Celebrating my husband and without us asking Surprised him with a sweet treat. We left full with amazing food and the Best Customer Service. Kuddos JJ for loving what you do and taking care of us. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!! Must try.

I haven’t been to this place in years and it never disappoints. On top of the food being delicious, the customer service is top tier. Evelyn Sanchez made my experience 100 times better. She was polite, personable and gave an excellent recommendation. Evelyn went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Chick-fil-A ain’t got nothing on Evelyn Sanchez. I can’t wait to come back.

Food is obviously good BUT we need to talk about service! Evelyn Sanchez helped me and not only was her customer service amazing but she was recommending different things as well as adding feta cheese to the potatoes(which was great, please try it). Not only was she very helpful and a joy but she also offered us bags before we even had to get up. I recommend this place for the food and equally the service. It always makes a dining experience wonderful when the workers love their job. Thank you Evelyn!
