I was eager to try this place because of the good reviews it jas on our local Downey page. I ordered caldo de res, it was served to perfection. Lots of beef and veggies, the only bad thing was that it had no flavor 😧, I thought it was just me but I had my husband and daughter try it and they said it had no flavor. I really want to think that they just forgot to add seasonings...
I ordered a menudo to go and it was ready when I got there and I have to say it’s the best menudo, like we made it at home for Christmas. Enjoyed it so very much

Finally decided to visit here after living in Downey for 10+ years was tired of all the long lines at the breakfast dinners around town and decided to stop by and give this place a chance. I’m glad I did. The food was very authentic and flavorful made me feel like I was eating a home cooked meal from someone’s grandma. Service was great ambiance was great made me feel like I was back on vacation eating breakfast at a restaurant in Mexico. Stop by you won’t be disappointed....
