It was definitely a great experience, food was delicious, and Mary Farmer does a phenomenal job. Their cook Stormy is great too. I highly recommend it! Pricy, yes, but the food, ambiance etc is worth it. I had melt in your mouth Filet Mignon.
Such a special treat! The service was excellent and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We highly recommend the Dutch Frontier! We will absolutely be back!
Seriously an all-around amazing experience! Everything was PERFECT! From the second you ring the bell to get in to the moment you walk out the service was so welcoming! The ambience and decor were breathtaking! SO different from your regular run of the mill steak houses!
Now for the great food... The French onion soup and salad they start you off with are both great! I ordered the surf and turf with Filet Mignon steak (I got mine well done and it was still super juicy and tender), and I upgraded my baked potato to loaded (I highly recommend doing this) but WOW the steak melted in in my mouth, the potato was cooked perfectly, and lobster tail was to die for!! Then for the desert I had the cheesecake topped with caramel sauce (they had other option for toppings as well) but the caramel with it was what I went for, and I was not disappointed at all!! I will absolutely recommend this place, and I will for sure be going back!!
Everything was absolutely amazing from the warm greeting, excellent service and Amazing food!! Not to mention the Lemon drop martini!! Thank you Mary, Cindy and Mike. We definitely hope to make it back again soon!!!
Old school Steakhouse with great service and food - fun atmosphere and vibe. A lot of history with the building.

We had reservations for our 12 year anniversary confirmed by the restaurant manager. We showed up to the restaurant with an SUV parked in the parking lot. We buzz their door, no answer. After trying repeatedly at the door and tried calling them, no answer. We went to the saloon down the street from them, it was excellent! Gave the Dutch Frontier a chance to call and explain themselves, they never bothered. I called them myself, their excuse was they had an emergency… Seems like this is a pattern with them based on previous reviews on Google and Yelp. If this is how you run a business… Shame on you!!Any 5 star reviews most likely took place when the restaurant was under original ownership. Anything from 2020 onwards is the new ownership- horrible.

This restaurant is closed. The website allowed me to reserve the date of 9/22/23 when it was still opened in July 2023. I received a confirmation that our reservation was accepted. We arrived on 9/22/23 to find the restaurant permanently closed with no explanation. The website is also down and I confirmed expired. The owners must have gone out of business and not bothered to notify anyone who registered online for a reservation. Shame on them.

This place did not hit the spot and I'm super sad about it. Food portions were small for the price that you pay for. My dates salmon was undercooked bake potato is super small. And the service was sooooooooo slow. Unfortunately I will not return other than to maybe have a drink at the bar . ?
Extremely overpriced!
Good service and food !!!!

Friendly, efficient, good food, good atmosphere, good servers!
The atmosphere was great and I was so excited to try it. The soup came out and I wasn't overly impressed. However, I was very happy with my filet. I was overall satisfied, that was until they asked if they could box my leftovers. The server left and returned to the table and plopped down my to-go bag. I kid you not, my baked potato and filet were placed inside ziplocs in a red plastic bag. $120 for just my dinner, mind you no cocktail and this is what I left with.
The best ribeye and potato with sour cream that I have EVER had! Every single bite of this steak was juicy, tender to the very last bite and it did NOT need BBQ sauce to make it complete. If it needs BBQ sauce, then your steak is not up to par. The lemonade is from freshly squeezed lemons.Highly recommend this restaurant for a special occassion, anniversary, or 3rd / 4th date (because by then it should be serious). The cost is pretty high for these meals but they are very well worth it.
Wonderful service awesome place great food lobster tail melted in mouth!!! Will definitely be back ?
I highly recommend the iconic Dutch Frontier. The restaurant has new owners and they have carried on the tradition of offering an exceptional fine dining experience. The food and service are outstanding.. Josh our bartender made me one of the best lemon drop martinis I have ever had. If you enjoy fine dining this place will not disappoint and make room the the homemade cheesecake. One of the best meals I have ever had and SO worth the drive!!
