The doughnuts here are very interesting and unique. They are pretty good a little busy and definitely bougie. I would recommend giving them a try. They are very pretty but they have a lot going on. The s'more doughnut was quite delicious.

We were in Eagle Rock on Pi Day to visit Know Reality Pie and saw Colorado Donuts in the same mini-mall. Being a lover of apple fritters, I needed to try one. It was very good. The shop offers the standard varieties of donuts along with a number of novelty donuts. The staff is very friendly. The interior of the shop is a standard donut shop motif.

After dining in Pasadena, I decided to visit Colorado Donuts around 9 pm on a Sunday. Despite a short line, it moved quickly thanks to the fast-paced employee behind the counter. While I was ordering, I noticed a few gaps in their selection, but there was still plenty of flavors to choose from. My favorite was the vegan glazed donuts, which were surprisingly delicious and indistinguishable from non-vegan ones. However, I found their blueberry and strawberry donuts to be overly sweet for my taste. Price-wise, they are on the more expensive side, priced at almost $5 apiece. Additionally, the shop has rows of scratchers decorating their wall for sale, and I couldn't resist buying one. Although I didn't win, it added to the fun experience.

If you're in the Highland Park/Eagle Rock area & are on the search for specialty donuts, Colorado donuts is the place you need to visit! They have a wide selection of the most creative & tasty donuts (& have a nice selection of vegan donuts too). Both times that I've been here the service has been fantastic. I definitely recommend treating yourself to something sweet and stopping by!
I think I went to Colorado donuts over 50 times since they opened. I always loved it and it was always fresh and on point. Today however, the order my husband picked was a disaster. Donuts tasted terrible. The vegan donuts we ordered were not the vegan ones we always get and they had the audacity to lie to our face and say that they are vegan donuts. So the previous 50 ish times we were getting the wrong donuts? Absolutely messy and unprofessional, threw half the ones we got in the trash
