The happiness and harmony teas were very aromatic and tasty. The afternoon tea selection was good as well but I wish the portions were bigger. The setting was part of the hotel lobby but it was nice and relaxing to dine and chat!

Nice space in the hotel lobby for coffee and pastry. They have made the effort to separate the seating from the rest of the lobby. Quiet and comfortable.

I came here for the 3H (happiness, health, harmony) Afternoon Tea, offered for the month of March. It's in the lobby bar/restaurant, which is located right when you walk in at the entrance, next to the front desk. It's a nice setting with sunlight coming in through the glass windows and doors if you sit in the main front area, with soft chairs and couches (and coffee tables) that are spaced out, plus some traditional tables here and there. A free parking lot is just off to the side of this building. The tea set comes with the usual: savories, sweets, and tea. There are special teas that represent one of the h's, or you can order one of the classic teas instead. You also get rosemary sage that you can take home and burn for a good night's sleep. The food and tea were good, though not outstanding, and service was good as well. Overall experience was a 5 but food a 4 without a standout item in my opinion, so I'll go with 4 stars since 4.5 isn't an option.

Visited [esc] to celebrate a finishing a project with a colleague and we enjoyed some wine and appetizers. Cheese and charcuterie were high quality and service was excellent. Good ambiance and quiet enough to have conversation. Nice place to catch up with a friend!

Loved our experience at the four seasons. Although, the formal restaurant is actually Quattro and they took us in even though I had inadvertently booked the [esc] café on open table. This review is for Quattro which did a lovely job for my husband's birthday despite the mixup. The food was outstanding, service wonderful--it was just a tad loud in the restaurant. Overall a wonderful experience.

A lovely spot. The entrance is unassuming, but as you go downstairs you'll be greeted by a decorated interior and a lively scene. There are plentiful tables and chairs (which may come in handy for groups of all sizes). I anticipated a live band, however there was none the Friday night we were there.

This restaurant has been opened since 4/17; is this a hidden gem?! Is everyone keeping this place a secret?! The food and service was phenomenal. Why am I the first to review? There's currently a Groupon/LivingSocial deal and it's a steal. I grabbed the dinner option and was extremely pleased.Awesome wine selection. Incredible charcuterie options. And amazing desserts. We loved it.The mornings, it is a cafe with carry-outs. And in the evenings, they turn into a wine bar with small bites. I didn't see a wine flight on the menu. That would be a super addition.Definitely will return. I'm actually thinking of just hanging out there in the late morning for coffee and paninis with my laptop.

Cute coffee shop that serves pastries, salads, juices and even wine! It's located in the Four Seasons hotel. Exceptional service!

They did not have my reservations. Even I called & had to leave a cc because of fixed price special Valentines dinner for $190 a person. I received a text message to confirm and I did. I made the reservations at Quattro however have a Denteley they have since opened up a small restaurant in the entrance area. I don't really know what it's called however it has the initials [esc] ! I never heard of it even though I've been goi g there for years. My husband proposed there on valentine's Day three years ago so we wanted to celebrate our anniversary there. I have had many special dinners their regular nights and also Thanksgiving and Christmas with whole families. I always found the food to be quite good and often great. I did not like any of the courses. I kept not eating hoping the next thing would be good. My entrée came which was lobster and it tasted almost brought it was also cold I don't know if it was supposed to be it was more room temperature. I ate a few bites and I begin to feel a little sick I couldn't finish it. We ordered one each of the desserts the chocolate one was ok the “cherry Wine” which was a cake went untouched except for the small bite each of us took. There was no little treats with our bill. They did not offer a Long stemmed rose of which there were plenty of vases of them around. it looked like they didn't offer them to any of the ladies. We started with cocktails & had one wine pairing which we shared. I was very very disappointed as I've been going there for years and I've never had such terrible food there and the fact that they took my credit card I made the reservation on open table but they followed up. And no one mentioned anything about the other restaurant and of course yeah the restaurant was not having a fixed menu at $190 a person. I can understand mixups it can happen but that and horrible food I don't know if I will ever go back again and I'm very sad about it because it was a special place for us.

We made an OpenTable reservation for 4:30pm, which the restaurant accepted. Unfortunately when we arrived, we discovered that the kitchen doesn't open until 5:30pm so only bar food was available. I don't think they should offer reservations for a period when their kitchen is not open.

had a travelzoo voucher for this visit. loved the cheeses we selected and the meats were just enough for the plate. The skillets were ok..had better pasta elsewhere. The service was great!

Fantastic menu and wonderful location! Very knowledgeable staff. Great recommendations on what to order. Ordered the following: 1. Cauliflower Gratin Skillet with fava beans, manchego cheese, caramelized onions, almonds, and mint pesto. So delicious. Not tasty. Very balanced in terms of spices. Wonderful consistency. 2. Cypress Grove Bermuda Triangle, Cowgirl Red Hawk, and Cypress Grove Midnight Moon. What can I say - loved these Marin-based cheese symphony!!! Delicate and flavorful! 3. Dessert: C3 with gelato! Heavenly. Very elegant and the combination complimented each other very well. Not very sweet which I like P.S They also offer a good spread of charcuterie options or even an oyster bar if you eat meat. Since this is at the Four Seasons Hotel, parking is definitely great. They usually have DJ's on Fridays but when we came the DJ was temporarily parked at the next door restaurant for some reason. Highly recommended.
