Excellent tacos with handmade tortilla and good seasoning. Recommended 100%
Delicious handmade tortilla tacos! ?
Platillos para todos tipos de eventos.
Overpriced and poor customer service.I will avoid them at all cost. The food was not good either.I wish they were little concerned to what the customer has to say or ask.
After a nearby meeting I asked one of the attendees what their favorite lunch place was in the area. Without hesitation they said Taqueria La Cazuela. I went with the fish tacos which were very nice. the inside seating and the outside seating are very pleasant and there looks to be good parking as well.
Family owned & operated biregional Mexican restaurant. This is my favorite kind of Mexican place. Authentic ingredients & food served in a family setting. You know the kind of place, they never have business cards or menus (they always just ran out). You see what others are getting and say "I'll have one of those". The #1 from the wife's region, a "dried beef" with homemade potato "chips". It is wonderful. The carne asada is excellent. As we're the chicken enchiladas. The tortillas are clearly homemade. The rice is perfectly cooked individual grains & Mexican seasoned. I call these pinto beans ice cream because they are creamy and you keep eating them. Facebook is close by if you want a touristy photo by the big thumbs up. The new hq, under construction, 2.0, has a park on the roof. If the employees knew this place would be mobbed...
Authentic family owned Mexican taqueria. Very friendly atmosphere. My quesadilla was delicious. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area so far (I have lived here for one week).
Cannot believe it - this is my second in a week to go there for lunch. The dishes are delicious - changing my view about Mexican food. The menu is hard to read (for Spanish readers, easy) - but just let them know if you want fish, chicken, beef, in taco, burrito or plate or soup ---each tastes so good. The nacho is also tasty. The environment is super causal - making a a perfect place for lunch under California sunshine with an occasional getaway from high end University Avenue restaurants. Just love the food there!
The food is delicious!! It is very authentic and home made tasting!! Off the beaten track but worth it! Everybody loved it!

I love this place. Great authentic Mexican food. I am a huge fan of their grilled fish tacos, and their home-made in-house chips. Prices are definitely reasonable for the quality!
Authentic Mexican food prepared well. Very friendly family owned. I really enjoyed my lengua burrito.
Although off the beaten track, this restaurant is accessible next to the 280 and 296 bus lines. It is a jewel in the rough in respectable East Palo Alto at the corner of Bay Road and Clarke Street. It features a LCD TV. The Mexican food is authentic and inexpensive. Open every day but Sundays. Taqueria La Casuela is a one of a kind spot. Family owned and prepared food to order with fresh ingredients, like cilantro.
