So my experience with the business was great up until recently on a Friday night. I used to come every 2 to 3 days to get two drinks at a time because I loved their Matcha and Vietnamese coffee, but now I will no longer be returning due to the service I received on Friday night. I ordered through GrubHub to do a pick up order and I was told that they couldn’t stamp my rewards card because it wasn’t eligible for online orders. I had asked if that policy was listed anywhere on the card and I was told no that it is just the owners policy. After that I left and went to my car and that’s when I noticed I had three drinks instead of four so I walked back into Dot and Dough and let the girl know that I had three drinks instead of four and she looked at me as if I was lying and with attitude told me that I ordered three drinks and she put three drinks in the bag. Thankfully, I still have my receipt and showed it to her. So she proceeds to make my drink and I noticed she filled up the cup of ice and I let her know that on my order I said 25% ice and that’s when she said in a certain rude tone even though people order 25% we still fill it up to 100% ice. I had told her that when I ordered through GrubHub, I always ordered 25% ice and my drink is always filled up to the top and I never have this issue so as a response, she continued to give me a nasty attitude and said, “Fine. I’ll just do it.” Mind you this was happening all in front of other customers, and the vibe was so off that it even made me and the customers next to me feel uncomfortable and they ended up not even buying donuts for their kids. After everything was said and done, she then decides to tell me, “I can stamp your reward card if you like.” I told her no thank you because I won’t be returning. It is very unfortunate how receiving bad service can really change the way that you feel about a business.
My recommendation is on Grubhub, if you are going to fill up the drinks to 100% regardless of the customer’s preference then how about you take that off as an option. Also, you should list somewhere on your rewards card that it is a policy that is only for in-store orders and not online orders.
Not sure why I was given this type of treatment to be honest it made me feel in a way racially profiled because of the way that your employee was acting towards me when I never did anything wrong. Instead of asking me to show her the receipt or to create an opportunity to rectify the situation. She was very adamant that I was wrong instead of trying to remedy the situation.

The owner is the sweetest! The boba was well made and the drink was very good too. I usually get disappointed when ordering Jasmine milk tea but this one was really good and flavorful. The mochi donuts were also perfect texture and taste!!

Matt is the owner of Dot & Dough. He greeted us hello and wished us goodbye when leaving. Cute little whole in the wall, a great tasty menu but ultimately Matt made the experience special. He let us know what he has and such. Definitely going back! Their Vietnamese coffee is amazing!

The mango green tea is refreshing and the beef hot dog came fresh very flavorful. Most importantly the service was very pleasant definitely recommend coming here.

First time having a Mochi donut… they were good! Definitely different from traditional donuts. The staff was kind and very informative. My Horchatta Latte, was not great - it was powder mix .. which I know places do, but the powder was not dissolved. BUT they were so kind and emphatic to ensure I left with the best experience. They offered to remake all together or another drink - no questions asked. Their great service from beginning to end is 5/5!
