This place used to be one of my favorites, but it has not been as consistent lately. Today I went in and it was not busy. I ordered the chilaquiles and a cold brew specialty drink. The drink came out quickly, but unfortunately they were out of cold foam, so it wasn’t as good as I was hoping. Then I waited for 30 minutes for my meal. Great little breakfast spot. They staff is great and very friendly. They have a variety of artist works around the cafe. The food is fresh and the cafe de olla is amazing. I had avocado and bacon toast with an egg which was delicious.
First time coming here the green chilaquiles actually had a good flavor it was more on the lemony side but still had a little spice. Personally would prefer it with more spice. They charge you an extra 6.50 for carnitas but they give you very little. The carnitas are nice and tender. The coffee was good so no complaints.
