Waiting for a doordash order from 25 minutes .. feel sad for the customer i don't know how long poor guy waiting for. Specifically when they barely have 3 tables booked and 5 people working in kitchen. Look like store need some employees who need jobs not the one who working for clock only

My friend brought me here when I was visiting SoCal. It was my first time trying a ramen restaurant in over a decade. I was thoroughly impressed! We came in late on a busy night, closer to closing, but they seated us with a smile, and never made us feel rushed. The waitress was patient and took the time to answer questions.

Our food came out quickly and was incredible. The broth was delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh. This was a great Ramen experience and has made me want to explore this genre of food more.

30 minutes after opening, place has about 8 people seated, 80% empty and they don't have a seat for 1 person! Can't even sit because they are too busy. Odd

Went down to Green Shaker ten ren they had more people, smaller place and got my ramen in 5 minutes.

Something very strange happened to myself and the group I was with here, we weren’t allowed to take pictures or record inside, the manager rudely told us to stop recording or taking pictures inside because of staff in there which was strange especially since we were taking group pictures and videos of us cheering, really messed up our vibe, do not recommend coming here to celebrate events.

The vibe was nice definitely a spot to take a late night date too. Food wasn’t bad got spice level 6 I like spicy food underestimated the spice level. Kids meal is awesome comes with so much food perfect for a picky eater or kids who want options. Service was nice we were seated immediately and had refills brought without us having to ask loved it.

How does this restaurant have 3.9 stars? This is the best Ramen I've ever had and drive 40 min. to get it. The restaurant has delicious food. It's chic, well staffed, has a full bar and a great menu. I wish there were more locations. I'll be back.

We tried to eat here because we found them on Bring Fido. We have eaten at another location years ago. This location was short staffed (2 servers) and refused to allow us to eat on the patio because it had rained earlier in the day. Might want to call before heading over in the future, as other customers also left due to the lack of staffing and wait times.

This is a followup to my previous review. Ron, the GM at Jinya, reached out and graciously offered my wife and I another opportunity to try the restaurant.

I am pleased to report that the service, food, and beverages were great this time. Our server Jake was courteous, diligent and attentive. The food was to correct temperature and the sake, sealed.

I am pleased to say they have earned our business in the future. Thank you Ron and Jake.

Came in for a couples date Friday 9/5. We arrived at 3:25pm and were greeted and seated promptly. It was pretty empty but the interior was nice. We ordered and waited for about 40 min(4:04pm) for the Ramen. The noodles were unfortunately firm and undercooked which didnt sit well for the 40min wait. With only 2 other tables (which arrived after us) it was pretty dissapointing. We were told it was due to staff training but after reading previous reviews it seems to be common. The staff was courteous however. Overall for the wait time, I wouldn't recommend the food.

This has quickly become our favorite ramen spot in the area! They have many options for vegetarians and we are always seated quickly.

This place has gone downhill a bit. I used to come all the time, maybe once per month. Anyway, I've been traveling for work, and it's been over a year since I came back. I've been there 3 times in the past month.

1. I sat immediately and got served quickly, just like the old days. A lot of the servers aren't there anymore, and the new ones seem just as nice. Though, I did get carded for alcohol even though I’m old as s--t and have gray hair, which isn't flattering but annoying to have to pull out my wallet (which I usually leave in my car) and wait for the whole ID check ceremony.
2. I went in, and the place was fairly empty. I was asked to wait 15 minutes. I can't say why there was a wait, but it was already late, and I just wanted a bowl of ramen. I left and got Taco Bell instead.
3. I had a rough day, so I went back the next night. I sat down and was served my beer and gyoza for a quick snack and left, no ID check this time (different server). Not an especially notable experience. It was quiet and empty again.

Each time, my food wasn't as hot as it used to be. I’m not sure if they changed something in the kitchen, but it used to be as hot as a cup of coffee, and now it's just above lukewarm.

I know times change, and what was once new becomes old, but something just doesn't feel right. The staff isn't as friendly as they used to be, the place is more empty, the service is still quick, and the 15-min wait was a bit odd.

And these were weekends, like Fridays and Saturdays, not Tuesday or something. I hope this place turns around and picks up the vibe again, but right now it's just not how it used to be, so take this as a concerned fan of Ramen and your establishment with fond memories.

There are a lot of places that serve chicken with a lot of fat and I'm not a fan of that. JINYA serves their chicken in nice proportion breast slices. No fat at all. The ramen is delicious and has a nice ambiance atmosphere, especially for a date night or a casual lunch or dinner. Definitely a good place to eat.
