This place is nice to hang out for lunch specials or at the bar. Friendly staff, great chips and salsa(comp), prices are a great value.. restrooms are very clean..That says alot to me!!!.
I love this place food its so good
They have the best empanadas and queso!
This place is so delicious. Everything we have had to eat or drink is so good! The margaritas are excellent too. I love their watermelon margaritas. The chips and salsa can’t even compare to any other restaurant because it’s the best. The inside has a fun atmosphere and nice decor. We love going here.
After being seated didn't even ask if we wanted drinks I had to go to the bar after 10 minutes and asked for them then the bartender who also seeded Us in the dining area was covering both areas and when I asked for the drinks he said I'll be right there and give me a hand gesture shushing me like I thought that was very rude she brings the plates for dinner and they are totally dirty we order fajitas and the side of condiments the lettuce was all shriveled and brown instead of bringing a normal sized plate she brought two saucers that look like they were for coffee cups the fajitas look nothing like the picture there was only a few shrimp the picture shows many more very deceptive
Slow service. 7 customers. 1 waitress. 15 minute wait b to be seated
Clean place will lighten planty of space on booths great variation of good Mexican food
It was a rather quiet Saturday night at this restaurant. It almost seemed eerie to see a restaurant that quiet. There was not that many guests and I was okay with that. It had the typical Mexican drinks and beers available. We opted for the live guacamole which is usually in front of you. However, I assume due to the quiet evening it was not available. So we went with the normal guacamole which is prepared in the kitchen and probably prepared for the masses. It was okay. Then we went on to having some fajitas has nothing else really jumped out at us on the menu cravings at the time. I ordered the Carne + mushroom + vegetables fajitas. My wife ordered the mushroom plus vegetable fajitas. My order came within reasonable time and it was Carne plus Polo fajitas and I let them know and they said they would fix that up and my wife's was exactly what she ordered. Her food was very good. Nice fresh vegetables and rice and beans. A little on the small side but it did the trick. I'll I almost wish I did not complain because it took quite a while for my meal to return and when it did it was unless quantity than when it left. There wasn't as much steak as there was in the first place. I assume that they recooked it and because I complained there was a smaller portion. The vegetables as well was not as generous as my wife and I was not overly impressed overall with the quantity of the fajitas. Maybe they have a very tight measuring scale on how much they give to everybody, but it definitely felt very measured. The taste was good. It was nothing to brag about and nothing to really complain about. I thought the meal overall was average. The service was slow. I think they had it reduced to probably one waitress for the entire area due to the restaurant being very quiet. That affected service. Of course that had to flag the waitress down and she was not able to be as attentive as you would normally hope. I've been to this restaurant before + it had been a while but the service was a little better and the foods seemed to have been also in my memory. However, I can only base this review on what happened in my latest visit. Not excited about the restaurant or returning so might be a while before I do go back. I don't think this restaurant is normally such a bad review, but I think the timing of quiet Saturday night I think and help it.
My wife and I love the food here and we also come here to visit our favorite waitress Landon, come on down and tell her hello.
Slipped and fell from puddle of soapy water in bathroom. No manager. The floor was cleaned. Not one person inquired about my health.

The food was delicious! And the chips and salsa alone are worth coming here for. Service was great and the atmosphere was fun as usual.
Vegetarian options: Other Mexican restaurants don't have rice and beans I can eat, but On the Border does and I appreciate that! It's great being able to enjoy rice and beans with my enchiladas
Parking: They play festive music and have lots of TVs so you can watch your teams play while you eat!
