Everything was so fresh and tasty. I was excited they carry my favorite Japanese beer “Kirin”. I can only imagine it getting packed during busy hours as the location and seating area is compact. Can’t wait to return and try different items on their extensive menu. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

The service was amazing. You can immediately tell that Toro's staff operates as a cohesive team to serve its customers. It's the type of service no one expects from a restaurant in a strip mall.
Unfortunately, the quality of Toro's service did not match the quality of its food. I orded a restaurant favorite, the Spicy Tuna Crunch, which was decent but it's taste and texture was overwhelmed by too much sauce. Ultimately, I was put off by the Sushi Sampler, that was prepared with tuna, salmon, albacore, and shrimp. I have no complaints about the fish itself, but instead the amount of wasabi in the sushi. I felt the burn through my nostrils.
Perhaps Toro's will continue to specialize in cooked sushi. And for now as much as I would like to enjoy its team's service once again, sadly, I will not be seeing them tomorrow.

Very nice place that reminds us of our favorite sushi place in Claremont. Very attentive and courteous, and the sushi was delicious! There's a lot of variety so it helps appease everyone's taste buds.

waited 40 min for 1 roll and an order of fried dumplings- which turns out actually wasn’t even added to my order so sadly just received the spicy salmon roll! not much flavor either

The omakasi experience was great. Not a lack of quantity, not taste. The flavors of each course were stunningly different and amazing. Top quality, with great customer service.

“See you tomorrow!” sounds like a joke when you hear the staff chorus it to every exiting guest, but after you taste the food, you’ll consider coming back for the next meal, let alone the next day. Delicious food with beautiful presentation. Good mix of options for a variety of diets and tastes, including more fancy (and expensive) items if you want a nice date night, or simpler fare for economical prices. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. Lots of cool tchotchkes and funny art to enjoy while you wait for your food to be made fresh. My husband and I love it here!

This place is decent; considering the price and portion size, it's quite affordable. It falls into the category of satisfying and hearty rather than refined Japanese cuisine. The thick slices of sashimi are a highlight, with 15 pieces plus a small roll, priced at $35. The salmon and mackerel (the whitest one) are particularly delicious, especially the tender and fatty salmon. Unfortunately, the yellowtail and yellowtail are a bit disappointing in texture. I ended up not finishing those two, but the tuna exceeded my expectations, so I polished it off.The salad is okay, and the miso soup has a mild flavor. As for the iced water, it has a strong mineral taste, and even adding lemon slices doesn't quite mask it. Odd, isn't it?Oh, and the accompanying rice is regular white rice, not vinegar-seasoned rice. The grains are well-cooked and distinct, making it a tasty bowl of rice. ?Considering the price, I'd give it **four stars**! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Freshest sushi in Eastvale!Tasty sushi and non sushi options available on the menu. Ramen available too. Cozy place with Tvs so you can catch the games. Alcohol available. No reservations, so first come, first serve. Plenty of parking available.
