This place is decent; considering the price and portion size, it's quite affordable. It falls into the category of satisfying and hearty rather than refined Japanese cuisine. The thick slices of sashimi are a highlight, with 15 pieces plus a small roll, priced at $35. The salmon and mackerel (the whitest one) are particularly delicious, especially the tender and fatty salmon. Unfortunately, the yellowtail and yellowtail are a bit disappointing in texture. I ended up not finishing those two, but the tuna exceeded my expectations, so I polished it off.The salad is okay, and the miso soup has a mild flavor. As for the iced water, it has a strong mineral taste, and even adding lemon slices doesn't quite mask it. Odd, isn't it?Oh, and the accompanying rice is regular white rice, not vinegar-seasoned rice. The grains are well-cooked and distinct, making it a tasty bowl of rice. ?Considering the price, I'd give it **four stars**! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Freshest sushi in Eastvale!Tasty sushi and non sushi options available on the menu. Ramen available too. Cozy place with Tvs so you can catch the games. Alcohol available. No reservations, so first come, first serve. Plenty of parking available.

Came in on Saturday to celebrate my husbands birthday. We are always greeted with smiles and the staff and owners are always so welcoming. Jenny always knows that I love a lot of ginger and when I came back from the bathroom to wash my hands she had it ready. The restaurant is clean. The sushi is always amazing I never can say I don’t like a roll they always have the best! My favorite roll is the Eastvale & Otoro roll. It’s so fun to celebrate your birthday there they put on disco lights and come out and sing ? usually at that point the whole restaurant joins in. I definitely recommend coming here and love supporting family owned businesses!

The food was mediocre. I like the jono sushi better. The price of everything was about 20% more than jono and less serving. I would only go back if the serving improved and actually grill the salmon. The salmon tasted like it was boiled. Not grilled. The sushi roll was not too bad. The service was ok but there's room for improvement. The ambiance was decent. It's small and too cramped but pretty clean.

We came for an early lunch and were warmly welcomed by the waitress. Apparently she had been with the restaurant for years and was very knowledgeable about their business and food that they offer. We started the meal with the perfect miso soup to warm up our stomachs. The waitress kindly directed us towards the happy hour menu in the back. Since the quantity was smaller, we were able to enjoy many different sushi rolls. Oh and being pregnant I really appreciate how they show which rolls are cooked (not raw) by having those options printed in red. The rolls we ordered were the popcorn lobster, red rock, shrimp lover, crunchy salmon, and Norco. Everything tasted so fresh and amazing! When I asked for more ginger, the waitress was quick to bring them out. Love the pickled ginger slices with sushi! Dare I say, this may be the best sushi place in Eastvale. We'll be back for sure!

Best thing about this restaurant is there is a Happy Hour here daily. I accidentally ended up here on Friday while trying to figure out what and where to eat. I am glad that I accidentally came across this place. I ordered an Alaskan roll, cucumber maki roll, and California roll. The prices we good for Happy Hour. I enjoyed the sushi and green tea I got. However, I only give it 4 stars because I felt when I went in there today, they ripped me off by asking me to try a better version of the Philadelphia roll - which was $16 ! I only came to find that out once I got the bill. Although it was good, it was not worth $16. I will still come back because the quality is good, feel of the place was calming and the location is nice. It is of decent size and parking is easy to find. Overall, 5/5 aaaa

Tried out the OMG Roll and the Eastvale Roll. During the happy hour, they were only $8 each! So affordable and available for takeout too. If you order online, it's required to order 3 rolls minimum. The quality of fish was impressive! Very fresh salmon and albacore. They were generous with the amount of shrimp tempura/spicy tuna inside too. Overall, I'd like to try this place again for dine-in!

Incredibly underrated sushi spot! I feel like fresh fish is so hard to come by in the inland empire. Not only that but it's always incredible saturated by rolls with heavy sauces and ayce. Jono's sushi was VERY fresh. And my standards of quality is at omakase levels and the bay area.I ordered a bluefin toro sushi which was so good I had to order seconds which the chef hooked it up and added an extra piece of toro! Thank you! It was at marketprice $12 for sushi and $20 for sashimi which is such a good price! They dress their nigiris with soy sauce and wasabi already, just how I like my sushi so it's all ready for the perfect bite. No need to add extra soy sauce. A lot of people hear "2 pieces" per nigiri order and are usually turned off since they believe that's too little of a portion. I can promise you at Jono's their nigiri portion is generous and pretty filling. They also have happy hour at the time when I came in and I was able to get a smaller portion of the OMG roll for $8. For someone who doesn't eat much I loved this option. This allows me to be able to enjoy nigiris and sashimi but sample a roll. The tempura was still crispy inside and the salmon was fresh and tasted so buttery. The rice was also seasoned perfectly, I felt like I didn't need to use soy sauce at all for my entire meal. Can we also talk about the handrolls? Nothing over $9! Simple, highlights the crispy nori and fresh fish. Little rice. Doesn't fall apart. It's perfect. The restaurant inside is small but I will definitely be returning with friends. Great service! Food all came out really fast. This has to be one of my top favorite sushi spots since moving down to SoCal!
