I came upon soft opening and I was blown away with the quality of the dishes. I loved that there was kind of a rewards program they had. Definitely worth a try especially since it's extremely difficult to find a good quality Japanese cusine out in San Bernandino area. The owners were great! Will be frequenting here often.

The only great place in Eastvale!
I ordered special rolls – the Hawaii, Déjà Vu, Sugar Daddy, and the Hamachi Kama. The food was so good, and the service was also awesome. Raya is wonderful! However, she spoiled me – now I can’t drink basic, cheap Nigori. The sake and Nigori were fantastic!

A new sushi restaurant. Very nice and kind of busy. I join in the wait list and wait for 20 mins to have a table.
Restaurant was nicely decorated and very big for a local sushi joint. The food was high quality and excellent. My original sushi place has just been replaced. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Pricing is on par as well.

Tenmaya has very good quality of food. The presentation of each dish is very well prepared. This is a very nice Japanese restaurant in the area. You can tell they pay attention to the details by running their business. Don’t miss it!

My first visit was so good we had to go back again already (and will be going back again and again). The ambiance is an upscale but relaxed Japanese restaurant. I felt immediately welcome.
Our wait staff was attentive and seemed genuinely happy. They answered questions about the menu and made suggestions. All good signs for what was to come... THE FOOD! And some sake. And a beer from Okinawa Japan seemed appropriate. The sake glass set was playful and set the mood for our meal. We started with edamame and the jalapeno poppers with spicy tuna (nice crunch).
Our table shared several rolls and split them for the variety. We started off with some great nigiri. The tuna was a beautiful deep red and had a great meaty texture. Next was some rich Scottish salmon that is really just some of the best salmon I've had. And then we rounded that plate out with some subtle yellow tail.
The sake roll is one of our favorites to get here due to being fans of their Scottish salmon. I remembered to grab pictures of the protein fiber roll (the name may sound boring, but it is delicious with great texture), Deja Vu Roll (insert I've had it before joke - and order it because it is fantastic). And the last picture (but not roll) was the sushi pizza (not fish on a baked dough). It is a great example of how their menu uses texture. There is some nori coated in sushi rice and fried until super crispy and crunchy, which is then topped with spicy tuna and spicy crab.
I don't remember the other rolls we had, but I do remember splitting some ube cheesecake and yuzu cheesecake as a nice end to the meal. And now I'm hungry again remembering it.

One of the better sushi, appetizers, and service I’ve ever had. Visited during the lunch hour, received fast and quality food. The Deja Vu and Rainbow roll were fresh and super tasty. The gyoza, edamame, and miso soup was the perfect combo. My dad said the Lobster Roll was 9/10 and for someone who has never had sushi he loved it. I’ll be back and recommend this to friends and family in the Jurupa/Norco/Riverside area. This is in the same parking lot as Heros and Staybridge, which I also recommend staying at.

This is our second time visiting the restaurant! The atmosphere is great and store is well decorated. Staff are very friendly and they have a wide selection of food! The taste is great and presentation on point! Very excited that Eastvale has opened a Japanese restaurant, finally I don’t have to drive to LA or OC to eat!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tenmaya Japanese Restaurant, which has been open for just about two weeks. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the restaurant's atmosphere. It exudes a modern, clean, and comfortable vibe that immediately makes you feel at ease. The sleek design and thoughtful decor reflect a contemporary take on traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating an inviting and pleasant environment.
The service at Tenmaya was exceptional. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, making sure that every aspect of the meal was taken care of with precision. Their knowledge of the menu and their genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch to the dining experience.
For lunch, I opted for the sashimi and sushi set, which was nothing short of incredible. The freshness of the fish was evident in every bite, and the sushi was expertly prepared. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Wagyū sushi. This dish stood out with its rich, tender beef that was perfectly complemented by the sushi rice and accompanying ingredients. Each element of the dish was well-balanced and flavorful, showcasing the chef’s skill and attention to detail.
To round off the meal, I tried the yuzu cheesecake for dessert. This dish was a delightful ending to a fantastic lunch. The cheesecake had a light, creamy texture and a subtle citrus flavor from the yuzu that was both refreshing and satisfying.
Overall, my experience at Tenmaya was superb. The combination of a stylish, comfortable setting, attentive service, and delectable food makes it a standout addition to the local dining scene. Whether you're a fan of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a new place to enjoy a well-crafted meal, Tenmaya is definitely worth a visit.
