The food was over salted, we asked for lettuce and it smelled like the refrigerator. It wasn't fresh, like they had chopped it from days before and kept it. The food was cold and the drinks were not naturally flavored.

I eat here at least once a month. This is one of my favorite resturants and my all time favorite Mexican restaurant and I have eaten at many all over California, Arizona, Texas, and several other states.My most recent visit was Sunday, 01/28/2024 . There were five in our party and they were very busy, but even still we were seated after a brief wait at their bar. Our server was a young lady and she was polite, funny, and attentive. Our food arrived in a timely manner and it was all good. Their enchiladas are wonderful. I especially enjoy their chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, and zucchini enchiladas, but everything here is delish. My friend raves about their Mexican coffee.The Resturant is small and they pack as many tables as they can in it, so sometimes you may find yourself sitting close to another table. Because of this we try to go at less busy times: after 9 am, before 11:30 and after 1Pm. Dinner time is usually less crowded.Parking: There is a small parking lot and then plenty of free parking on the street. It is a 2 hr limit during business days and hours.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Imperial Valley, hands down!! I've been there 3 times and tried something different every time and food is absolutely amazing. Triedthe lamb mixiote, flour tacos, green enchiladas and sopes. THE BEST!! Can't wait to go back and try something different. Even the Coke and Coke Zero on tap is AMAZING! My absolute only complaint about this location is the dip at the entrance of the parking lot, if you have a car or SUV, you will scrape and take off your front bumper. Be VERY careful

Looked for a place to stop in El Centro to eat that wasn't KYC or someplace where I would have to get tested for hepatitis afterwards. Something authentic and clean. Yelp comes through once again. Stopped in for a dish I saw on the Yelp review, but the proprietor told me it wasn't available that day. She recommended the chicken soup, that clearly was not the 'chicken soup' I grew up with, but a large bowl of flavor, warmth, spice and, like a warm hug, went by way too fast. I don't go through El Centró often.... But when I do, this will be a stopping spot. Btw.... Cool environment and I even ran into a friend from San Diego who apparently also uses Yelp to make these critical decisions :)

We had a very good experience I tried the huevos rancheros the flavor was on point service mi wife tried the chilaquiles and my daughter had some sopes they cleaned their plates we are definitely going back it's about an hour drive from Yuma but it's definitely worth it
