Sadly this place is not likely to ever re-open, it has not been open since Covid started. The family does not appear to want to take it on. The property is a mess and the old sign is on the ground. Never had a chance to try it.
Friendly family run business, great food AND the Special Quesadilla is the bomb! =) Been eating here since I was a child. *Review from 2016.

yes they have delicious food I would love to go back there and really good for the family
Love the food and the folks running the place.
Excellent! Fantastic! ???
Ok I have to admit my review is a bit dated. We used to go to Camacho's back in the early 70's when I was a kid and loved it. To this day my family will have Special Quesadillas and remember Camacho's It's great to still see it around!
Old time memories
An El Centro favorite - wonderful food and owners! Consistent preparation no matter how many years it's been since we were back in town. Love Rosie and her dedication to keeping it alive! Go there...go often!

We have been going to Camacho's all of our lives with our family. We will continue as long as they are open.

We heard of this place from friends, and it is really in the middle of nowhere. That said, you gotta go there to eat. It has been there for over 70 years and serves up great, fresh Mexican food. We split Combo #2, the quesadilla special, and chili rellenos, a couple beers, and homemade flan for dessert. Easily the best dinner in the area for us. If you go, check out all the history on the walls. And day hi to Rosey.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, now I bring my son & grand daughter. The food is awesome! The atmosphere is relaxing.
mexican food and service at this spot is great. do not leave if it's busy, it is worth it. next time i'll be back with my friends. mood here reminds me of san diego's scene.
Great place been part of the imperial valley forever. Definitely a hidden gem of the imperial valley
Okay, you have to work hard to find this institution. Its in the middle of fields. It is worth the effort though because the food is very good. The decor is basic cafe, the servers are the owners and are happy to share the history of this 72 year old restaurant and maybe bend your ear about other things as well. It has a special ambiance, so go, eat well, and smile.
