Came in and was immediately greeted and seated. Service was great. Ordered a Topo Chico, a tachuache & lengua taco as a combo with rice and beans. The rice and beans were not my favorite. The beans were a bit gummy and the rice was surprisingly bland. This took me aback for a place with such a high rating so close to the border. The best part of doing the combo is you get a roasted Chile and grilled onions. I chopped that up into the rice and added their salsa roja. The tacos were good. The lengua was the best of two. If I was to go with tacos again, I'd opt for 3 and not do the rice & beans as a side.
The owner was making rounds and talking to customers. Seems like a lot of familiar faces patronize this spot and is definitely a neighborhood place. So points on service. It definitely has more of a bar vibe so I would be curious if the drinks were where it's at.

I love everything about this place! The food is so good that it's hard to decide on what to order. I've had the flautas plate, Sopes, fish tacos, Pineapple margaritas and everything is on point. The service and presentation and atmosphere is outstanding. I highly recommend.

Over priced tacos and everything. It’s mind boggling they’ll charge that much here in the Valle. San Diego prices for the quality of food is crazy. First and only time. I rather go to Mexicali and get better food. I don’t recommend it to no one. It’s my opinion and treat as such.
We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday on Sept 6. We had a party of 14, and our server Jessica was not only great, but her personality was the exact energy we needed out of our experience. She was fun, funny, super personable, and attentive. She even made a bet with my mom on a coin flip to get her to have another beer! She was exceptional. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere made me think I was in San Diego. I had the chile gueritos with the asada and a watermelon margarita and both were absolutely delicious. The presentation of the margarita was spot on, and was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Prior to our reservation, I had called to up our number from 10 to 14 and it was no problem to accommodate that. Leo called just to confirm the total number and get an idea of where we wanted our table to be located, and he was also very nice and reassured me that the requests I had woukd be made. I have been in the industry for 15 years and I am big on service and a pleasant experience, and D’Poly did not disappoint. My mom had a wonderful birthday and everyone there had a great time and all couldn’t say how much we adored our server. Thank you Jessica, Leo, and the rest of the staff at D’Poly for making my moms birthday one to remember. Definitely will be back to try out more from their menu. 😊

A lovely place with great bar staff. They were all very friendly and accommodating and even made stuff up on the spot for us. Great drinks and pretty affordable as well. The atmosphere they’ve created is next level, especially for somewhere in the valley. Definitely recommend!

Walked in and wasn’t greeted by a host which is okay, but we were there for like three minutes before anyone seated us. Our server took about five minutes to get to our table to get our order. Ordered chips and salsa that took about 20 minutes to come out and there was such a small amount of salsa it was gone way before the chips. Waited another 25 minutes for our food to come out. It was packed inside but I don’t think that should be a problem if there’s enough servers and kitchen staff. Seems like their team can’t handle a large crowd of patrons. Our server was pretty inattentive in my opinion but I don’t know what else was all happening. Also the bathroom stand of sewage really bad and had some overflow from the drain which gives me a bad feeling with the water and plumbing. Won’t be returning. Food was good though but as good as the food I make at home, nothing life changing, felt very overpriced. Portions were good sizes.
