Tried calling this place just to ask a few simple questions. First time they answered the call without saying anything then hung up on me. Second time I called back and a lady who answered in Spanish saying she doesn't speak English and asked if I could wait a moment (I understood enough Spanish to tell this is what she said) then hung up on me
I guess they don't care about customers here and don't have staff who speak English

Hope Café is truly amazing! The customer service was exceptional, and the staff made the experience even better. The drinks were fantastic—I tried the matcha and the café de la olla, Mexican style, and both were absolutely delicious. I also had a crepe, and it was amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend stopping by Hope Café for great drinks, food, and a warm atmosphere.

If you want special coffee and desserts this is a great place. My strawberry and cream was delicious ( there was something special in it). Hope sweet was excellent. Everyone in my party loved the croissant sandwich. ( I was sad I was still full from lunch- wish I had 2 stomachs 🤣) Very cool atmosphere

Their drinks are good but their prices have gotten out of hand ,their crazy expensive, you can't casually come here for a drink anymore, I paid almost $9 for an iced matcha, that's insane. And their food will run you $15.

Went for a solo visit and had a really pleasant breakfast here, although the service was slow even when it was quiet. Returned with friends and the order took over half an hour, nothing came out together with long breaks between some of us getting food and drinks. My order was wrong, I raised it with the waitress but she said it was right. After confirming it was wrong it took them a while to rectify my order. Service really let this place down.

I’m a long time customer of Hope Cafe since their Calexico location, but their El Centro location has been declining in service for the past year. Many times we’ve been told we can’t order certain items on the menu, or we’re limited to “2” items so the restaurant can save their products for other customers, kitchen closing early, and many more “reasons” (read: excuses) why they aren’t a well-running business. Half the time, the restaurant is short staffed and they run out of food early. It’s not the employees fault if management isn’t staffing or ordering enough food for their restaurant. This is poor management and planning. What is the employees fault is saying you’re open and we can order, then making someone wait 10 days minutes to order food, then saying they can only order drinks. All around, poor planning on managements part, poor communication from the employees, and poor service from the staff. The quality of service has been severely lacking and it is disappointing since this is one of our favorite places to go. I don’t normally leave reviews, but it’s been too many times now that I have had an unsatisfactory and frustrating experience.

Pretty pricey for 2 Iced coffees but they were good. Unique way of making the raspberry white chocolate latte. I get That flavor everywhere I've never seen someone. Make the cream pink on the bottom for a beautiful presentation. Great work
