Looked like a nice place to eat after 6 hrs on the road... Oh how wrong was I. The chips were cold. They only had 1 option of salsa to go with your cold chips. The food came and it was less than good. The Huevos Ranchero was made with canned chili and came with only 1 tortilla. The tacos and tostadas had "tomato sauce" and radish on it. Never in my life have I had a taco or tostada garnished with tomato sauce. The red chili was powdered chili that wasn't made properly and the beans were canned beans. The saddest part is there was not one Caucasian working to explain the use of canned chili, powdered chili, an canned beans in a "Mexican" restaurant. I would not have expected such inauthentic mexican food so close to the border... at least it isn't advertised as an authentic mexican restaurant. I suggest McDonald's at least you know what to expect.

I have been going to this restaurant for maybe 20 years this is I think the fourth building they've been in same owner. Sometimes I get breakfast sometimes I get lunch my last occasion was tacos dorado. I had excellent service, and the tacos, rice, and beans were very tasty.
