The employees here have a bad habit of leaving the front unattended for a good while, so customers are left standing in line waiting for someone to walk out of the back and start taking orders. When I finally do get some help the employees make faces and give attitude.

So, my friend Brooke and I (we have been good friends for about 10 years now) were going on a road trip from Scottsdale AZ to SD CA. The weather was blistering hot (about 106 out) and our AC was broken in the car and Brooke was crying. I had the brilliant idea of getting blizzards!!!! So we tracked down the nearest DQ and ended up at the imperial valley mall in El Cento. Brooke and I love going on road trips together and she usually doesn't cry, but I understand where she was coming from because of the high temps outside. On a previous road trip we tried to go to a different DQ but google maps steered us wrong :( I digress. So anyway, we pulled into the imperial valley mall parking lot and didn't see the Dairy Queen!! We called and the store manager gave us precise directions to get there by walking through JC Penny and then it was four stores down from that! We got there and the service was excellent and the ice cream was chill :) Contrary to CJ's post: 10/10 would recommend to all friend's and family. PS- If you like pizza, Mod Pizza is good too.

We were looking for Blizzards during our summer road trip. Unlike previous poster comments, we had friendly and efficient service with a smile. They *do* serve Orange Julius. The Blizzards were as expected. Be advised:::this is inside a Mall. You'll have to park and walk a fair distance, so if you are looking for a quick on/off freeway Blizzard fix, this ain't it. If you don't care and NEED Blizzard NOW the. It doesn't matter, and this does the job in spades.

0 stars for this place. Workers where not taking care of the front and when I finally had someone take my order, the icecream I was given had little bubbles in it and tasted like spoiled milk. Huge negative. Never getting icecream here again!

Well, you can get an Orange Julius here. I haven't had one since going to the Sunvalley Mall in Concord in the mid 90s. It actually may be a different mall- in Pleasant Hill, CA. Anyway, long time ago. This is an orange julius/dq hybrid. I got an orange julius- i note that use a powder similar to what i imagine starbucks puts in frapuccino's. am i right about that? delicious, though.
