I wouldn’t go back, but it’s probably the best you’re going to get in the Imperial Valley when it comes to poki/sushi/boba. Bummer.

I remember this used to be my go to sushi spot but as of recently, im not sure why, the service has been irritatingly slow . My and my family got a pretty simple dinner special while ir was fairly empty it took them about 50 minutes to serve it.

I should have listened to my gut when I pulled up and all the signs outside were faded. As I tried to enter the restaurant the door wouldn't open and I assumed the place was closed down, because it looked like it. The owner noticed I turned away and he came back out to let me in. I waited in line about 3 minutes to order a poke bowl with a salad base. The male employee at the front counter showed no sense of urgency. 12 minutes after arriving I finally saw him getting ready to start on my bowl that literally required some lettuce and the toppings. I asked him if he was just starting my bowl and he said yes. I told him don't worry about starting it just give me my money back it's too long to wait for a poke bowl with a salad base. He tried to Tell me something about how he was checking on the rice. After I asked for my money back it took an additional 3 minutes before he would give me my money back. I saw the owner walk in and I let him know what was going on and he said his cook showed up late. No apology from the owner, no apology from the young man up front, I listened very carefully as the young man up front gave me my money back and all he said was have a nice day. No apology again. I don't know how this place is going to stay in business operating like this. No one shows any sign of urgency, and they really don't care about their customers. It seems like they would need training from the top all the way down. Including the owner. Maybe their food is amazing, but I wouldn't know, they cared so little about the service I never even got to taste the food. 17 minutes of my life I'll never get back. And to be clear, the owner was walking around doing nothing in particular, and there was an additional female employee serving herself food and eating behind the counter. No one was helping up front.

Sushi didn't seem fresh, didn't get Wasabi or ginger with rolls. Our minso soup came out 15 minutes after rolls. Thus place use to be better.

Not sure if this place has declined over time or if I was sticking to my usual and when I veered off the path I learned it's not so great. Their fried baby octopus is one of the main things I go for and that's never disappointing. I used to get the Korean Spciy pork here and it's fine. I recently got the spring rolls and they were terrible. The rice paper was torn, I paid extra for shrimp and had tk find it with a microscope and the shrimp hadn't been cleaned properly. My friend had the ramen and she said it was meh. I remember the Pho being just ok. Maybe it's hit or miss, not sure if it's worth finding out.

It says they closed at 9pm I walk in door was open sign on window says it's open and I walk in and they tell me they closed at 8:40 pm and I was there before 9pm. You need to update your hours sign, I just wasted time and fuel to get there

I liked the restaraunt and the service, and the selection. The spicy tuna hand roll was ok, maybe 6.5/10 and the jalapeño poppers were a 6.0/10

Had the BYO Poki bowl, could not find anything about it online, I saw they had takeout flyers if their full menu but did not grab one. Food and portions were good, only reason I took a star off was because they did not toss the meat in sauce but just put it in bowl on top of base and sauce over it. Took me at least 5 minutes to get down to meat base. I would get again for the 17$.

Unable to comprehend the difference between spring rolls and egg rolls. Tried to give 3 half full sauces for 18 " egg rolls" when 18 spring rolls were purchased

Do not order from this store on google. Ordered March 24th only to find out afterwards it was the wrong location, called to cancel and refund and after talking to a young boy who then switched me to the owner who said they couldn’t refund because they’re not associated with the third party vendor I ordered from. The order was then “picked up” on google. When I go into my orders on google the only option I have to speak to someone is to call the restaurant directly. Big fiasco and had to charge back with bank.
