I'm from San Diego, so my standards might be different. The food tasted fresh. I was very surprised to see macaroni salad in the bento meals. Maybe there is a Hawaiian connection. Portions were generous. I was definitely full.
The service was slow. Not sure if that is normal or not. Sometimes there are off days or shift changes.
For me, the atmosphere was a bit off for a sushi place, but again, I'm used to other standards. There aren't many options when I am in the Valley visiting family.

The ramen broths are delicious; however, the quality of the ramen itself leaves a lot to be desired for the price. The noodles are like instant soup noodles, and the ingredients are clearly frozen. Honestly, if they lowered their menu prices a bit, I would go more often.

Absolutely disappointed. I bought an order of spam Musubi (4 piece) and it was almost $10 for 1 musubi cut into 4 slices. That’s absurd definitely worth in the coming back here again.

On 5/08/25 after 6pm we visited this restaurant, but to our surprise it was the worse experience dinning in. We walked in and sat down as we have done before, as we waited waitress passed by many times not acknowledging us at all. We were there more than 15 min waiting. A Customer walked in and went counter and started ordering. My wife called attention to the waitress that we been here before that customer and told us to wait and started his ordering, we walked out and called the manger by phone and explained what happened, instead his excuse was you have to order at the counter. I told him that she never acknowledge us, there is no sign posted of this, but there is one posted that says because of tariff some items are more expensive you would think to be more aggressive on service since your charging more, but never will eat here again!!!

Pricy but good. I had the Bento Box with delicious Korean Garlic Chicken. Not spicy hot but lots of red peppers shells. Great variety and portion size. Quick service so much was made in advance. Warm but not hot. Sushi was fresh and good. Drinks expensive and mostly ice .

Best Japanese food in Imperial Valley, the price is reasonable and the customer service is very good! Without a doubt I highly recommend. Family atmosphere.

Not worth taking your family to. Family of 5 and spent $120 w/ tip to feed everyone. The food presentation was good, food quality could be better, really salty on some.
The service was incredibly slow.
The menu has a good selection but overwhelming since there is so many choices.
Tables were sticky and overall place needed a good cleaning.
I ordered a Bento Box.

Wonderful food, fast service and great staff. The Pokirito and the Miso Ramen were fantastic, and the salads were fresh and crisp! Good size portions.

Tempura salmon and tuna was absolutely disgusting. Miso ramen was very salty. Jalapeño poppers were good though.

Just awful. One lady working there, doing everything, really slow service. Multiple people came in after us and were turned away because their dining room was closed and only accepting to go orders. The owner, I assume, yelled at the employee for dropping something and made a big scene. We ordered a sushi roll and poke bowl.. took 45 minutes. The poke bowl sat there halfway made while she did other stuff, took other orders, etc. The sushi was bland and had zero flavor. After getting our order and leaving, we had to go back in several times to ask for plasticware, napkins, soy sauce, and ginger. The fish did not look fresh and I should’ve listened to my gut instead of trusting that food because now I’m sick with food poisoning and I know exactly from where!
