The place is the typical cafe/restaurant in the USA, the waiters are attentive, they offer coffee, there is only regular and decaffeinated, and various drinks at the bar, the waiting time is medium, the dishes are served in large quantities, (it reminded me of the quantity served in Kentucky restaurants), coarse dishes with a large amount of food, well served and challenging to finish, good quantity for the price paid, good presentation and good flavor, perhaps they lack butter...
The Broken Yolk is a solid American establishment in Imperial Valley. They have an extensive variety of breakfast and lunch options, ranging from omelettes, benedicts, pancakes, toasts, sandwiches and burgers. I personally am a huge fan of their Tiki toast, Wild West burger and Hawaiian fried chicken burger!
Food was delicious, prices were reasonable, but the waitress on the other hand was lit. Moody, seemed like she didn't appreciate our request for items we needed or were missing...other than that it was great
