The place is totally overrated and wayyyyy over priced. It's a small establishment, the food is good but nothing that can't be made at home. The drinks were good but not worth $21 a piece. We each got one drink between the 4 of us, I think that alone was about 100.00. The service is mediocre, we received our food after a couple that came in way after us, which wasnt cool but it was the whole experience that
made us conclude, there nothing special about the place. When the bill arrived I almost had a heart attack, at that point I felt ripped off. We all felt the same and we won't be going back. If your looking for a good steakhouse that has normal prices, skip this one and go elsewhere. EDH has a lot of low quality high priced restaurants, they put lipstick on a pig and call it gold. Worst place for restaurants, Not all of course but it's a general consistency. Go to old folsom, sutters great, normal prices and a great atmosphere. Or if u want the price tag just go to Mortons.

Upscale dining experience with reasonable prices. This hidden gem is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had.
Stopped in for a casual lunch with a girlfriend. We were greeted by a friendly server at the door, who let us choose beautiful seats on the patio.
She was attentive and helpful without being overbearing.
Be sure to ask about the special! And make sure you try their house made desserts.
I thoroughly enjoyed my steak salad. The steak was high quality and perfectly prepared. My friend loved her chicken Parmesan.
The food was high quality and delicious.
In addition to the wonderful food, there are a multitude of classic cocktails with unique twists. Be sure to ask about the house infused beverages. You won’t be disappointed.

We walked in to check it out. Had heard good things. The host was inviting and generally seemed to care that we were there.
Decided to sit at the bar just for a drink and a small bite. We approached and asked if we would like a drink. We asked what was there drink. Figured we would try whatever they were known for. The server looked confused. She eventually suggested an old fashion. I said sure thing, she then told me they were out of the Bourbon they usually use and asked if it would be ok to use another. I said sure. My wife was not sure what to order. Eventually, the host came over and offered a drink option.
When it came to food, we ended up getting a salad and a Margherita flat bread. The food came out extremely fast. I'm not sure that was a good thing. The salad was great, which we shared. The flatbread was not. It was cold. Maybe it was supposed to be that way. But the topping just fell off when you picked it up.
Eventually, the bill this is what put the nail in coffin for us. We were charged a split charge fee for the salad. Wouldn't have given it a second thought except for we ordered other items. It was not like it was a plated meal that we shared. The old fashion I ordered had an up charge for the different bourbon. The only reason we changed it. Was because they said they were out of the bourbon they typically use. I don't say anything and hand my card to the server. She gives it back with the receipt, and there is a varaince. I decided to ask why. She then stated there is a credit card fee. Which was not identified on the receipt. It was just added in.
Overall. Food was just average, not worth the price
Drinks were ok and overpriced
Service was average. Only because the host was carrying the team.
There are too many other nice restaurants in the center to choose from. No need for us to go back.

Best steaks around, hands down, not even close. We had the tomahawk special between the three of us. Came out rare, with buttered plates and a quarter of lime. The steak itself was incredible and soft as butter. Add mushrooms on top? Get out of town, it was tasty beyond reason. Add a delicious Kölsch from Amador Brewing or a Woodford Rye on ice and you’ve got a recipe for an excellent night.

Atmosphere was dark, depressing, and felt like I was a baby boomer on my way to a heart attack.
The Service was great 4/5. The only thing they lacked was they gave me no details about the expensive food I was eating. The only Issue was the waiter tried to offer me some cheap special as if I couldnt afford any meal i want, hilarious.
The Food was too salty and way too much butter was used, My $70 steak was 2.8/5, nothing special, tasted like salt and butter.
The food presentation was not as it was shown online, felt like Texas Road house.
The crowd was drunk and loud as hell. You could hear every conversation.
I honestly felt like this restaurant is perfect for the local El Dorado Hills Baby Boomers who have nothing to do but waste money on 2.8/5 steak and get smashed on over priced booze.
I wont be coming back, and I have talked to many of my baby boomer clients and told them not to waste their time. If you live in El Dorado Hills and you want to die of a heart attack due to too much salt and butter, this is your spot.
