These guys are top notch and I don't even like Indian food. This place made me like Indian food. The sauces are made in the house and they are delicious. I highly recommend the lamb curry and the butter chicken. There is also a potato and pea dish that is really good and vegetarian. I can't remember what it's called. The service is very fast and they are very friendly. They have several other restaurants in the area. The food is always hot. And breads are all fantastic. One order is definitely enough to split with somebody else, make sure you get some basmati rice. The food is also pretty salty, but I guess that's what makes it so good.

Horrible establishment, have buffet hours posted on their website and they do not have a buffet. There is a reason it's always empty.

Best Indian food in our area, nice ambiance, and great service. Highly recommended. Never disappoints.

I love this place! The workers are friendly, food is fantastic, and Taj Mahl beers are to die for.

This restaurant is excellent. The food is excellent and the ambiance is very nice. The staff is great. Very professional. And very, very clean.

I have been to this restaurant three times and I absolutely love the food and the decor of the restaurant but I wish the service and friendliness of the staff was better. Each time all of the waiters are standing around in the front of the restaurant on their phones and they seem like they don't want to be there. I wish the customer service was better as it would be a more enjoyable place to dine.

Service was awful. Staff catered to friends and paid little attention to us. Explaining dishes the server was rude and abrupt. Food was not good and came cold(supposed to be hot). And the health department review which I just saw has 15 violations and scores a 69 out 100. Not good.

Love the flavors and the service is solid. The space is beautiful and worth spending some time.

Picked up a mild chicken curry with rice snd garlic naan bread yesterday fir a late lunch. After a few bites I realized it wasn't mild but spicy after I had asked for mild so couldn't eat it. The rice was hard and either undercooked or just old and dried up? The naan bread was soggy and inedible. I paid $28 for this lunch and its still sitting in my fridge uneaten. Will not be going back there again.

Food hasGone down hill... we used to love the food when it opened. Todays food was very sub par, almost inedible including the naan.We won't be returning.

After making a spontaneous decision to show up here with my party of literally 20 people, I expect irritation at best and bad service at worst but they don't even miss a beat! Sat us immediately, all with smiles and wonderful attentiveness. Got our food in a timely manner, No ridiculous waits for such a large group. Nothing. Pleasantly surprised!

I've never been inside the restaurant so I can't attest to the indoor ambiance, however I have ordered online on a few occasions. After my last order, I won't be coming back. We ordered the tandoori chicken, for $20, we got four pieces of chicken and about five cups of onions. For the order of Naan, at $5, we got one piece cut in half. Not a basket of naan, but literally one piece. We also ordered the aloo gobi, while good, it was $20 for essentially cauliflower and potato in sauce. In addition, we ordered the lamb curry, which came in a very small container. The lamb meat was very tough and chewy, and should have been slow simmered for hours until tender as with any braised meat. The total cost of the meal after tip was $83. The cost was outrageous for a scant amount of food, I've been to many Indian restaurants in my day, typically a price that high would feed my family with huge portions and served family style with many condiments, with leftovers for the following day. The only thing that wasn't scant in serving was the rice, which I can make at home for free. The food tasted ok, but I definitely regretted the impulsivity of my decision to get Indian for dinner. The wait time for these scant proportions was over an hour, and we picked the order up ourselves. Based on the price and time waiting, the value was low. I understand that rents and inflation are high, but I felt the cost was not worth the purchase. I'm noticing a trend in EDH where the food is subpar in quality and scant serving size with a high cost. If business owners like at India Oven don't start to realize that people will stop coming altogether unless the value matches the cost, then they will likely go out of business.

10/10, this is one of the best Indian restaurants! The food is full of flavor, authentic and they provide amazing customer service. Thank you to all the workers, they all work so efficiently together and go above and beyond for their customers. We ordered, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and tandoori chicken. (I'll post pics of what I took, unfortunately once everything got there my focus was on eating so I forgot to take pics of everything else.)

I’ll start by saying that the staff are wonderful and I want this restaurant to succeed but to me the food was blah compared to other restaurants. Maybe my taste buds we’re having a bad night.

My family orders take-away from Indian Oven (EDH location) at least two times a month and whenever my husband and I go out to eat, this is our sit-down spot! Safe to say, we've eaten food from here over 25 times. I had some time over this holiday weekend so thought I would give some love to our fave local Indian!Let me start by saying, I am a Bay Area native and my husband is an ex-pat Brit so we have very high expectations for Indian Food! Firstly, the food is delicious and very consistant! We typically order the same things 90% of the time - here's our typical order:- Aloo Gobi (potatoes and cauliflower)- Chicken Curry (chicken thigh? with a traditional "gravy" curry)- Chicken Tikka Masala (kids like this as the chicken is white meat breast and it's very tomato based)- Naan (we love the butter and the garlic)(the main curries come with basmati rice)We have also tried and add these items to our staple order (above) from time to time - depends on how many are eating:- Fish Amritsari (appetizer)- Crispy Prawns Karawari (appetizer)- Murgh Malai Tikka (boneless marinated chicken breast) - I love ordering this with a side of tikka masala sauce (on the menu)- Zaffrani Zinga (tandoori prawns - eat these in a piece of naan and a drizzle of tikka masala - so good! almost like a "Indian taco")- Classic Butter Chicken - another kid fave- Kheer (rice pudding dessert - another fave!)- Mango Lassi Whenever we sit in the restaurant to eat, the wait staff are very welcoming and attentive. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and warm! There is a small patio off the dining room if you would like to sit al fresco. We are thrilled Indian Oven opened up a location in EDH. We highly recommend this location!
